BREAKING: Political Operative Speaks Out on ‘Cuban Mistress Crisis’
Gateway Pundit ^ | 03/28/2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/28/2016 7:28:12 PM PDT by Mensius

--snip--

OPERATIVE: Yeah, two and the anchor. The anchor here is the absurdity. You know, the Enquirer story. Five women, shoving ‘em in closets and on desks or whatever right in the middle of meetings. That’s kind of, that’s, I just don’t see how you hide or how people miss that kind of stuff. That’s Bill Clinton stuff, you know. Sex crazed. And Glenn Beck does this whole I got raped by Ted Cruz bit this morning and everybody on my staff got raped, tasteless stuff.

GP: Yeah, we blogged about that . . .

OPERATIVE: yeah, I know, and that’s the anchor. And Beck doubled down on the anchor, said something about five women in closets and all that like I said, right? And then he sets the anchor really strong with a headline and it worked cause it was the headline you even went with. He said If this is true I’ll drop Ted Cruz like a hot potato.

GP: Yeah. Uh huh.

OPERATIVE: So there’s the hook, the headline, and then he sets expectations. He lowers the bar sort of so to speak. He says something like “Look, if it turns out Cruz had an affair six years ago and came clean and made up with his wife or whatever, then who am I to judge. People make mistakes.”

GP: Yeah. So how does that work then? What’s, how does that go with the anchor?

OPERATIVE: I think Glenn Beck just told the world the real story. There was an affair six years ago. One affair. It’s over now. And the Enquirer story is so over the top that a single affair six years ago will look like, yeah, whatever. It’s a perfect anchor, hook, and low ball. Perfect. It’s what Jeff Roe, his campaign manager, does.

Funny. People that were heroes here 3 months ago are now “stooges and sellouts” because they dare to oppose Don Trump.

Please, point me in the direction of a conservative who is running that hasn’t sinned. I will gladly change my mind.

What about the sin of a man who pretends to be a family man who upholds family values and a devout Christian while cheating on his wife, ignores Article II,I,5 of the US Constitution while claiming he is going to uphold the constitution, rails against the “Washington Cartel” and then accepts their money and their endorsements, claims he is an outsider but is working to ensure a brokered convention and the nomination of a Washington insider?

Those ongoing unrepented sins are okay with you, and you are still going to vote for this deceiver, whose sin is that he is not in anyway the man he pretended to be?

Granted, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but why a hypocrite who is nothing but one big deception, with not an honest bone in his body?

I should hope that either one of our candidates could provide better security for ourselves and help for our allies than this evil bunch of goobers in charge now have!

Reading what you wrote in #195 , I got to say and I am sorry to say...not that I want to be rude....but you are either Teb Lying Cruz himself or the dumbest person ever on FR!

Seriously do you even have a clue on Trump’s policies? Answer - no you don’t!

You actually think Freepers including Jim The Boss of FR would support Trump if any of what you posted was true?

You wrote: “If my mom, a US citizen, was in England on vacation when I was born, would I be an English subject?”

Cruz’ Mom was not taking a vacation in Canada when Cruz was born. She had lived there for years; Cruz’ father was a Canadian citizen. She was listed on the Canadian voter rolls, which certainly suggests she was a citizen as well. If she registered Ted’s birth with the American consul, then Ted is a naturalized citizen, if she failed to do this, then Ted has a problem!

If you were born when your mom was vacationing abroad, and if she registered your birth with the American consul, the same applies to you. You would be a naturalized citizen, and you would have full rights as an American citizen, except that you could not be president.

This is Ted Cruz’ situation, IF his mother registered his birth. So far, Cruz has produced no paperwork regarding his citizenship, only a Canadian birth certificate.

Cruz did himself in, he couldn’t play the part he pretended to be, a liar and more, none of it good, none of it electable. A shame really, if he was what he was selling himself to be, we could have had a good VP or SCOTUS nominee. Teb will disappear, maybe pop up later working for the Bush cartel as a lawyer taking the fall for laundering money. He killed himself.

It has! We seem to have lost our sense of humor. Sad.

I was happy for the giggle you provided. :)

Regarding the video at post 181. I am nearly speechless.

It couldn’t be more obvious that Fiorina is covering so that Cruz can evade the question.

Idiots think we’re stupid enough to fall for it.

See? Right there. You got it. TRUMP writes a book about an authentic life story. He pleads “GUILTY, as charged”.

Cruz pleads “Look over there, they did it, he did it and they lied”.

What a goofy habit. Just say you never cheated. And, sue anyone who said you did.

Non-denial denials are generally the stuff of scoffing, in the real world.

I was shocked as well.

Honestly I supported Trump and Cruz throughout and was disappointed when they went head to head. Was hoping Cruz could land the SCOTUS spot.

But again and again Cruz just misleads, lies, slings mud then blames others, and behaves like a sleazy politician.

Trump has many shortcomings, but at least he is what he is. He’s a pompous ass and a bit too ‘New York’ for me, but he has balls and will kick ass when elected.

Cruz has retreated into a lawyer-ly smarmy oily politician Elmer Gantry persona that seems completely artificial.

He won’t answer THE clearly presented question. They took Heidi off the trail. There’ll be some exclusive interview where Ted comes clean about their past ‘marital difficulties’ and does the Bill/Hillary 60 Minutes bit hoping to do damage control.

What did all this have to do with Trump? It was Cruz’s mistake and his fault.

We are not talking about the sin so much as the stunning cover up and Lyin’ Ted still lying about it. Forget the sin. Cough up something besides non-denial denials, while pointing to the fault of everyone else in sight.

The $500,000 payout to Fiorina's campaign seems to be "hush money" for the fact that HER Deputy Campaign Manager, Sarah Isgur Flores, is the 3rd mistress ID'd in the National Enquirer article. After donating a meager amount back in late July or early August, I have been getting Fiorina Campaign emails. In fact, I have 23 total emails from Flores - on avg., 1 a week. (Yes, I save a 5 yr. history of emails - even these?!) I have Fiorina campaign emails signed by Flores dated as late as..... (checking....) 2/30/2016.

[My first name],

The mainstream media and the political class are at it again. Carly beat their candidates in Iowa, she has more cash on hand, and she's outpolling them in New Hampshire—and they're doing everything to keep her off the debate stage on Saturday.

I've forwarded the letter Carly sent to the Republican National Committee below. Make sure you read it, and make sure you share this letter on Facebook to help us fight back.

You've helped get Carly on the debate stage once. With your help, we will make it happen again.

Thanks,

Sarah Isgur Flores
Deputy Campaign Manager
Carly for President

Fiorina behaved like she was Gloria Allred protecting her wronged client!!!! It’s sickening. Ted’s wife has fled the campaign trail and Carly has taken up his cause?!!! And here I actually thought she was a straight thinker. I am truly disappointed in Fiorina at this point. Truly. The ship is sinking. She needs to get off - NOW!

If your supporting Cruz, you don’t care about the border anyway. Or the North American Union business, the CFR, the Corker Bill, the quintupling of the foreign worker visas, the pathway to legalization, the TPA vote.

Legislatively, you can’t name one thing Cruz accomplished for a single conservative, because he didn’t. He was on the record supporting every globalist agenda item that came along.

Enough to regret that women ever got the vote. Sheesh.

The Heidi-by-the-side-of-the-road thing happened in 2005.

Amazing. How is this same little scenario not about your boy trump also? He would become the first president with two ex wives and I would easily imagine has quite a string of elicit sexual encounters (some that likely took place while married to the prior wife). But of course nary a word about that. Seems some have become the hypocrites they used to rage about.
