I don't think you'll find a single Trump supporter who's glad that a man we once thought could be a conservative hero was always this. Once we smelled it, you bet beating Cruz became first in line. I'm glad he's out, but I'm not glad he did what he did.
Initially I didn't care which of the two won, so long as we had both of them fighting against the left in whatever position they were most effective.

This whole episode really saddens me. Cruz could have been a great voice for us. It does not make me happy that Texas is being drug through the mud along with him. I hope he can finish his Senate career with honor.
