If he really has a story being fired wouldn’t stop him from “spilling the beans”.

BINGO! This reporter is free to put out his information and the fact that he has not done so proves he nothing of value.

"Confirming" the story was being shopped about or that one or two of the outed women were part of the rumors is a giant zero. He will will not be a nominee for the next Pulitzer prize.

No it wasn't. The fact that Drew Johnson confirmed two of the women was discussed by most pundits last week and over the weekend as being particularly damning evidence against Cruz's denials. Even more so because the media itself has known the facts of this case for several weeks, but sat on the story. Other journalists from Breitbart were upset that they sat on the story and have said so.

The Washington Times has compounded is problems by both firing Johnson, and they being caught lying about his status as a reporter for them and on they payroll as recently as February.
