After the real estate billionaire retweeted an unflattering photo of Heidi Cruz last week and amid fears the Trump campaign was behind Friday's National Enquirer article alleging Ted Cruz engaged in affairs with multiple women, New York Post columnist Fredric U. Dicker writes:
"Everyone has been waiting for months for Donald to become more presidential, and unfortunately, he appears to be going in the opposite direction," Dicker says "one of Trump's most prominent New York supporters" told the paper.
"We understood in the early days when he was trying to differentiate himself from the rest of the pack of candidates that he had to do certain things, but why is he now doubling down on that sort of crap, starting with his talking about the size of his penis and now ending up attacking Cruz's wife and the stuff about alleged affairs?"
"I wish Trump would just shape up and start acting more presidential," another New York GOP official told the Post, Dicker writes.

When Trump first announced his candidacy, I told my husband that he was a plant to get Hillary the presidency. I moved away from that for a short time, I now believe again that my instinct was correct.
Where’s TID kitty?
Umm he also does live appearances in front of thousands of people and more unscripted press conferences than all the other candidates combined.
He literally put out one tweet and one retweet in response to an attack on his wife. For months he has been called every name in the book. His issues have entirely driven the election for 9 months.
Being cowed into not fighting back is exactly what his enemies want. Its worked for the Left for years and sadly now the Right is pulling the same stunt.
I’ll take Trump just the way he is as the only unbribed America first candidate in the race for either party.
Trump is his own worst enemy at this point. A couple of weeks ago, I was coming around on him and working on convincing my brother that at least he should vote for him in the general election. That is now a hopelessly lost cause, and he's just going to write-in someone else if Trump is the nominee.
It is just frustrating for anyone who wants to beat Hillary. The guy just can't get out of his own way.
It was yet another display of his lack of self control.
Heidi's off the bribery trail. That'll cut that $5, $10, $20, $100.
As opposed to Trump who had numerous dalliances with married women and brags about it in print....The difference is Trump is not pounding his chest pretending to be the holier than thou principled, consistent conservative anointed by god....
IOW, never mind if he's an adulterer and lying about it, Cruz is a blatant consistent liar and a fraud to the core.
100% Ive been talking about it for months. Hes got to knock this $hit off.

If he loses Wisconsin a week from today, you will know it’s over. He blew a great opportunity.
Too few alternatives.
For every poll showing his numbers against Hillary as bad there is one showing them good. IN addition to that Trump really hasn’t started on Hillary. No one knows what he will do and how that will shake out. I personally know life long democrats who are voting Trump and will NEVER vote for Hillary or Cruz. They are COMPLETELY turned off by Cruz.
It was a "big deal" showing that Trump still can't stand anyone to bully him back!
One tweet was an insult - more than one shows the guy just can't stand the heat.
We understand all of you Trump fans out there cheering while he insults everyone on stage, in the media and even the audience but when he loses his cool, it's not pretty and not so fun even for the big guys!
If he loses Wisconsin next Tuesday, you’ll know it’s over; he blew it.
If he doesn’t stop the shit he’s been doing and saying, he will NEVER make it to the Oval Office; he won’t even get the nomination.
That may all be true. That doesn’t change the fact that this kind of stuff from Trump hurts him among voters. So whatever his odds are, this kind of stuff makes them longer.
You're correct, he consistently loses to both of his potential Democrat opponents, both challenged candidates themselves.
I still think he has the easiest road to the nomination. But he’s starting to remind me of that guy Russell that played 3 or 4 times on Survivor. He back stabbed, lied, essentially cheated - did anything he could to make it to the finals. He ticked so many people off along the way that he lost each time in a landslide because nobody liked him. Life imitates art. I see the same thing happening here. He’ll get the nomination, but at what cost? And never be able to repair his image enough to beat Hillary. They’ll brand him an fear monger, a racist, a bigot, a woman hater, and it will stick.
“If youre going to be all upset about rumors about Cruz, please also be upset about facts about Trump”
Not about the rumors or the boinking. If the rumors about Cruz are true, it’s about the hypocrisy.
The supporters of Cruz did him no favors by holding him out to be so morally superior to everyone else. That is what is going to cost him now.
Trump has his warts on public display and says, they aren’t important now. He doesn’t pretend to be annointed by God. Cruz has a side-kick AND supporters telling the rest of us they know how us unwashed Trump masses are the lesser Christians because their guy Cruz is so holy.
Give me a break. Cruz is no holier or no more moral than anyone else. Vote personality or policy, that’s the choice. Those who vote for Cruz due to some religious belief are in for some big disappointments. Just stop trying to hold him up as so much more righteous than anyone else. He isn’t.
There is literally not another person on this planet who could run on a strict anti illegal, America first, tough on Muslims, anti globalist platform in his day and age and get as far as Trump has, with status quo types on both sides plotting against him 24/7.
But hey is his methods, which have worked, keep pansies from stopping the destruction of this country then that’s on them not him.
“His legions of supporters cannot desert him because what would that say about their own judgement - so they disregard the unseemly utterances.”
I don’t disregard them. I just realize they are not the total picture of the who the man is.
You on the other hand, appear to be acting in true Drama Queen fashion.
Carry on.
