Up until this, I still would have had no problem supporting Trump in the general. But beginning with the way his campaign handled this incident, and now continuing with Trump's behavior towards Ted Cruz's wife, I now doubt I will vote for Trump in the general should he be the nominee.

So you'll either not vote at all or you'll go with the Hag. Got it.

"So you'll either not vote at all or you'll go with the Hag. Got it."

Again, I live in California which the Hag will win by double digits no matter who I vote for.

Given that, I see no reason to vote for a stupid jack@ss like Trump. And the reason I call him stupid is because if he was smart he'd control his temper in order to not lose thousands of votes from people like me to whom character matters.

I like a LOT of things about Trump. When this whole thing started he was my first choice of the 17 Republicans running. Then when he started saying dumb things I didn't agree with he dropped more and more, ultimately dropping as low as 9th on my preference list. I don't think he's a racist or a misogynist like he's accused of being. I think he's just a total a-hole to anyone he doesn't like, regardless of their race or sex. And given a choice, I'd rather not vote for someone like that.

If I lived in a swing state, perhaps I'd view it as "I have no choice, I have to hold my nose and vote for Trump." But I live in California, so I'll vote for Cruz in the California primary, the first time in my voting life that the California Republican primary actually has meaning. I'll pray that Trump fails to get 1237 delegates, but if he does I'll be thankful that I have the option to not vote for Trump without increasing the Democrats chance of winning the Presidency.
