Honestly, Trump gave the best, most direct answers to all questions. Cooper was much more controversial to Trump and Cruz.

A principled conservative also can identify when the rhetoric of one side is getting so shrill that it has the potential to incite violence.
A principled conservative calls people out who propose weakening national defense the day of a terrorist attack.
What a principled conservative will not do is push tax hikes.
What a principled conservative will not do is push federalized healthcare.
What a principled conservative will not do is push federalized education.
