I asked my husband if the audience changed. They are alert and laughing and engaged with Trump.

He needs to drop the “Ted said he was from Florida” thing.

Open question to you and others reading this post: How many times did you ever forget your home state? This is an evidence of how rattled Cruz is ...below the surface. I think it's very telling and absolutely right for Trump to mention it ...even numerous times

I don’t think I mentioned Reagan/Carter...Don’t need to...

Who runs these polls??? Who is the “establishment” for???
How much has the “establishment” helped the American people the last 25 years???

Look at the numbers of regular American people drawn to the rallies...Who are the American people for???

I’m 67 years old...I’ve voted in every election since 1972...I’ve been a member of the republican party since 1970...

I have NEVER been polled...46 years and I’ve NEVER been polled...
If you put as much faith in the polls as you seem to put in them, then you are very naive....

You better look at what is going on in this country and get behind it.....

Ted was rattled the first 10 min or so, Cooper peppered him pretty good. After that, not so much.

Yup, he cleared the air in the room and got people chortling with mirth with his brash kickass defense of Lewandowski

Another: In a sane world, Donald Trump would drop to less than 10% in polling after this GOP TownHall and his responses.

That’s just not going to happen because Ted Cruz is such an unlikeable candidate. He lost Evangelicals to NY Liberal Trump. How pathetic is that? LOL.

Your liberal demigod is showing his true colors up there tonight...

Good to see your tend with him in thinking healthcare and education are the 2 of the 3 major responsibilities of the federal government.

I agree so much Cruz is lying every sentence. It’s so frustrating. Can’t wait for this primary to be over. Oh and don’t think for a moment Cruz won’t be a pain for trump in the senate. It will happen.

Trump is a conservative alright:

Fed Government top 3 things: Security, Healthcare, Education

LOL.

I can not believe all the people on this board think Trump is a conservative. He is left of Hillary.

Trump handles one "gotcha" question after another. Effectively shuts Anderson Cooper up repeatedly. Clear thinking; measured responses (through NUMEROUS interruptions); looks very presidential.

He was in a snit earlier and threatened to, but apparently thought better of it.

The difference is Ronald Reagan was a principled conservative with real solutions for America’s problems.

Trump is a vulgar populist whom has no principles nor solutions, just empty platitudes.
