In a perfect world that is how it works. If she does not have her own attorney she will be crushed and will lose.
The case is out of her hands now. It is between the Jupiter PD and Lewandowski, a "minor criminal" matter, not a complaint settled in civil court. Fields doesn't even have to appear, evidence can come in via police testimony.
I'd add that she really doesn't care if she wins or loses. This is "punishment by process." The accusation is enough to fuel the gin mill, and that was the point of making the accusation.
