From a legal perspective - what is your assessment?

Do you take it to trial if you are Corey or do you sweep it under the rug and get out as quietly as you can?

I think Trump will want it to go to trial. He can’t surrender to this ridiculous attempt by Fields.

I'd go to trial. The legal test includes context, and is not simply "unwelcome" touching. We all have had unwelcome touches in crowded places, and the law excuses uninvited touching for example self defense and defense of others. Fields knowingly put herself in a position that invited forcible removal.

Lewandowski has two lawyers to represent him, Scott Richardson and Kendall Coffey, and by all appearances intends to defend himself. Marc Bunjowski of the Jupiter, FL PD is the arresting police officer.

There is evidence that Fields committed simple battery against Trump too, although I'd say it would be a mistake to get down in the mud with that pig.
