The Jesuits seem to be pushing the homosexual agenda very aggressively.

The Catholics are offended at the notion of traditional marriage? What a surprise.

These places are usually worse than your typical state school.

Jesuit colleges and universities by and large have been overcome by extreme leftists, too.

The Jesuits have ALWAYS been a thorn in the side of the mainstream Catholic Church. Wacko fringe element from the start.

It was announced this week that a “diverse” faculty committee recommended to the university president that McAdams be suspended without pay from April 1 through the fall of 2016 and that he lose his job unless he admits “guilt” and apologized “within the next two weeks.” Specifically, the demand is “Your acknowledgement that your November 9, 2014, blog post was reckless and incompatible with the mission and values of Marquette University and you express deep regret for the harm suffered by our former graduate student and instructor, Ms. Abbate.”

Unreal. We need to strip all universities of public funds when they pull this Stalinist crap, and charge the involved administrators AND student council members with both civil and criminal fraud.

Way back when, the Jesuits were respected.

Now however.....

"The Catholics"? Way to show your ignorance, FRiend, if you think Marquette University is representative of "the Catholics".

But don't let the facts and details get in the way of a good anti-Catholic jihad...

Yes, I think it bothers the snake-handlers here knowing that the Catholic Church is the one true church, founded by Jesus himself with St. Peter as its first leader. All of their churches were founded by various malcontents and heretics, and are illegitimate. That said, many of these Catholic schools are really in name only.

Right. (*sigh*) It'd really help if the liberal "(c)catholic" (read: heretic, almost always of the far-left persuasion) institutions would die out, and let actual Catholics reclaim the buildings for proper use.

...after a thorough exorcism of the buildings & grounds, of course.

The Catholic Church allowed Satan into its midst by turning a blind eye to homos flocking to the priesthood decades ago. Those chickens have come home to roost big time.

The key word in what you said is "Jesuit".

The Jesuits used to be the bastions of orthodoxy... back in the 1500's through the very early 1900's, in the era of St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Francis Xavier, in the era of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, and even in the era of Blessed Miguel Pro (early 20th century, martyred by the atheist government in Mexico which was trying to exterminate the Catholic Church) and other noble Saints who would be turning over in their graves to see the wasteland that the Jesuits have become.

Anyone with any first-hand (or even second-hand) knowledge of the Jesuits knows that the order has, in modern times, become synonymous with liberal heresy (of many different and "exciting" flavors--pro-homosexual, anti-clergy, "liberation theology"--you name it!). This is one of the many reasons why the Church is currently reeling from the wounds inflicted from within... including wounds by the current occupant of the Chair of St. Peter, who's a Jesuit (and his ilk, and other dissidents who're "making hay while the [dark] sun shines").

FYI: don't equate the Catholic Church with modern Jesuits, please; they're about as loyal to true Catholic teaching as Friedrich Nietzsche was.

Who's loyal: the RCC or modern Jesuits? And I'm not familiar with Nietzsche (wasn't he a Lombardi-era Packer linebacker?)?
