Caddell: A Vote for Cruz in Wisconsin Is a Vote for Paul Ryan
breitbart.com ^ | 31 Mar 2016 | John Hayward

Caddell said he believes the GOP Establishment is “using Cruz as a catspaw.”

“Look, you don’t really think that Jeb Bush, and Lindsay Graham, and some of those who have endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)… you don’t really think they want Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), do you?” Caddell asked. “They’re using him to stop Trump.”

...

If Trump can’t recover and get the delegates he needs, Caddell thought Senator Cruz would likely find himself discarded after the first ballot at the convention, his usefulness to the Party bosses at an end.

“If they can stop Trump, then Cruz will pick up some more on the second ballot… but I don’t think they’re gonna nominate him,” he explained. “I think they will then move to nominate, to try to nominate an Establishment figure, someone who hasn’t run. I think that will blow the Republican Party up.”

I just learned that Cruz is soliciting for his supporters to pay off Walker’s campaign debt!

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/ted-cruz-solicits-donations-to-pay-off-scott-walkers-campaign-debt-b99633949z1-361819941.html

The Texas senator took to Twitter on Sunday to urge his followers to donate money to help retire Walker’s lingering 2016 campaign debts.

“I stand with my friend @Scott Walker & hope you will too!” Cruz tweeted to his “#CruzCrew.”

Cruz then linked to a donation page for Walker’s campaign.

“Your contribution of $10, $35, $50, $100, $250, or more right now will help us pay down this campaign debt and officially close the books on our 2016 campaign,” the website reads. “And if you contribute $30 or more in the next three days, we will send you a limited edition lapel pin.”

This is true. But they can always stop Cruz with a NBC lawsuit. He’d have such a cloud over him that even Bernie could beat him.

Do you know that for a fact>?>

The fact is though that voting for cruz is helping he establishment get their contested convention of which I am not going to help them.

cruz/establishment working hand in hand yet again.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

why do the cruz supporters still ignore that they are now for the establishment?

Trump has a tough row to hoe in WI. It’s the land of GOPe. Anyone who believes that a candidate that is a member of the RNC isn’t establishment is beyond me. All these people rely on the RNC for thier political lives.

Everyone, except the Cruzers, knows this.

Tucker Carlson said on Hannity last night that the GOPe’s intention to force a “brokered convention” and nominate a candidate other than the one who garnered the most votes in the primary is a direct and dangerous assault on the very fabric of the American democracy.

Please spare me the “we’re not a Democracy we’re a Republic” screeches please. The word “republic” has been bastardized as badly as the word “conservative” lately.

Thwarting the will of the people, of disenfranchising voters, does not a “republic” make. If our vote doesn’t matter, if the rule of law doesn’t matter, then nothing else matters either. The GOPe is playing with fire.

And Cruz fans don't care how much damage is done to our country as a result of what the GOPe is clearly doing. Denial sucks, but it is very real.

And a series of dominoes keeps on tumbling which COULD actually result in the election of President Bernie Sanders.

The GOPe gets their wish of a brokered convention and nominates someone like Ryan. This will send scores of angry Trump supporters to the sidelines.

Bernie continues to surprise Hillary with primary upsets, and the spectre of the server scandal still hangs over her. If a few more dominoes fall the right way this COULD actually lead to Bernie being elected in November.

Ditch the GOPe's princeling, Paul Ryan.

There is an alternative.

“why do the cruz supporters still ignore that they are now for the establishment?”

Many have acknowledged it. They have since stopped posting.

It’s just the hardcore loons that actively pretend like this isnt the case.

Because Cruz is the only one running who has fought the establishment, Trump certainly hadn’t.
