Now we need a federal program to build sidewalks.
Not a city program; not a call to the mayor.
Maybe we can have an entire federal department, the Department of Sidewalks, to handle the matter.
To: Nachum
Sidewalks are part of the “American dream?”
Just what exactly do clowns like this think the American dream is?

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)
To: Nachum
The most affluent areas in California don’t want sidewalks. It reduces their property value.

Checked very carefully to make sure this wasn’t satire. Best I can tell it’s not. But still not sure.

A man can’t really swing if his sidewalks don’t fit properly....

I don’t have sidewalks, curbs or sewers. Drainage along the road is a ditch. Show me the money!

The sidewalks in the street
The concrete and the clay beneath my feet
Begins to crumble
But love will never die
Because we’ll see the mountains tumble
Before we say goodbye

What a great example of overreach to have the Federal government dictating about sidewalks.

We spent millions in my neighborhood to make sidewalks wheelchair friendly (no curbs). I haven’t seen one wheelchair yet but the skateboard punks sure like them.
