'One shot at the queen': FBI, AG intensify focus on Clinton email probe
Fox News ^ | 3/31/16 | Pamela K. Browne, Catherine Herridge

As the FBI enters the final phases of its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized email server for government business, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey are meeting frequently to discuss the progress and handling of the highly sensitive case, a source told Fox News.

Among the issues discussed in the meetings, which have been taking place several times per week, are who will be interviewed and in what order, according to an intelligence source close to the ongoing case. Emails released by the State Department have already shown Clinton and several key aides used the personal, unsecured network to send more than 1,000 messages which have been deemed classified.

The formal interview requests are now being rapidly organized to set a time, date and place for the individuals to speak with federal agents about how their names have surfaced in the FBI’s ongoing criminal investigation. The interviews would not require any statements under oath, and subjects could decline them.

Enough with the Hildabeast email crap already. Unless the story is an on-going indictment I no longer want to hear about it.

If it is an on-going indictment I want to see her in shackles and frog marched to a paddy wagon!

It may appear to be inconsequential, but the message is being sent! CYA, fools!

If they are going to take a shot at Herself, they better the hell not miss.

The consequences for a near-miss could be catastrophic, both for legal precedent, and for the poor unfortunates whose aim was less than true.

Then again, perhaps the years of dissolute living will catch up with Herself, and a complete physical and/or mental collapse makes all these speculations moot.

Herself gives bat-guano crazy a bad name.

The only reason I can see for the FBI director “interviewing” her personally is that he is going to tell her off the record that they are going to seek an indictment, and it would be better for the American people that she withdraw from the presidential race before it is too late to replace her.

You can always decline to talk to law enforcement, and when you do you aren't normally put under oath. The sentence was just stating the obvious. But it is a crime to lie to the FBI whether you are under oath or not. Ask Martha Stewart.

Judge Nap says under oath is not required — M. Stewart was not under oath when she “interviewed” and that interview sent her to the joint.

The only thing I’ve seen that said the director would interview her personally was a bad headline.

True, the statements will not be “under oath,” but, as with all such statements, made to the FBI, they will be subject to the False Statements Act, which prohibits and criminalizes any knowingly false statements made to any FBI agent in the course of an investigation. That’s how they got Martha Stewart. It could be how they get the Witch.

“M. Stewart was not under oath when she “interviewed” and that interview sent her to the joint.”

A good example of the unjust, tyrannical nature of that law.

Absolutely agree! Why waste our time reading about something that we know won't happen.

I can’t believe the AG and FBI will allow their possible future boss to be indicted, especially with Obama in charge of them.

My guess is the FBI recommends indictment and Loretta Lynch stalls til the clock runs out and Obama leaves the Whitehouse.

It will be up to Trump to go after her. I say turn Chris Christie loose on her and pop the popcorn.

How is this a “highly sensitive case?” Just because “political royalty” is involved?
