Trump’s answer shows just how many of us are not willing or ready to face the reality of what it is that we have done.
It shows how we deceive ourselves by misidentifying the victim on purpose. And the purpose of that misidentification is so that we can continue to deny that the action of abortion removes from this world a person who was supposed to be here.
We cannot as a country stop what we are doing and atone for what we have done if we continue to deceive ourselves when we damn well know the truth.
Some here may question or take offense to my using the term “we”, but I have done this thing. That is why there is no way for me to deny who the actual victim is and who did the victimizing.
It was me, and there was nothing noble or honorable about it. There was something I was supposed to do in this world, and that was to bring another person into this world, but I failed, and that is my dishonor to carry forever.
I have asked the Lord to forgive me, and I have asked the soul that I never knew to forgive me. I wonder who it was to be? I guess I will never know.
I don’t know if I will be forgiven. Maybe I’m going to go to Hell. Maybe I should go to Hell. Unfortunately at the time I thought it was okay. It was many years ago, and it was just a result of being man enough to stick it in, but not man enough to bear the responsibility of my actions. What a fool I am.
So, Mr. Trump, I doubt you’ll see this, but if you do, I would like to tell you that you were right. If this is to be illegal, then there must be punishment, for the women, and for the men such as myself.
If we continue on otherwise, there will be even more people like me, and I don’t think that’s a good thing.
We have to face what we have done.
I have to face what I have done.
This is my confession.
You have been forgiven because of your remorse!!!
