President Barack Obama heads to law school next week to push his nomination of Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.
Obama adviser Brian Deese said Friday that Obama will return Thursday to the University of Chicago Law School to argue for Senate consideration of the appeals judges nomination.
Obama taught constitutional law at the university for several years before he entered politics.

Obama didn’t remotely teach Constitutional law. He was an affirmative action temporary lecturer who explained what the Left thinks should be in the Constitution, without regard to its historical understanding.

Yep we always hear this urban legend that he taught constitutional law. He was a part time lecturer.
The media keep pushing this meme that Obama is some sort of constitutional law expert. Some of his actions as president seem to indicate that Obama does not believe in certain constitutional principles. Yet we are supposed to think that he’s some sort of expert on the subject.

Illinois Dems demand Kirk push harder for Garland hearings
CHICAGO - Five Illinois Members of Congress joined together Friday to say that Senator Kirk must fight Mitch McConnell and his Republican Senate colleagues harder if he expects to have any credibility in his call for hearings.
The pressure is expected to increase this week, as President Obama is scheduled to return to the University of Chicago Wednesday to ramp up support for his Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.
Congressman Bobby Rush, Congressman Danny Davis, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Congressman Mike Quigley and Congresswoman Robin Kelly are demanding that the U.S. Senate hold hearings for Garland’s consideration.
