I used to fly combat support missions out of Saudi in the 1980s after Reagan reflagged the Kuwait Oil Tankers with American Flags. All US Military Female personnel were required by the Saudis to wear it. There were not allowed to leave the compound without US Military male companions.
We had one young lady who was blond and very attractive and one of the locals tried to purchase her offering $250,000 for her. The Saudi was very lucky we were under orders to be on our best behavior downtown or he would of had the beating of his life by several accompanying aircrew escorting her. I was in a USAF communications squadron at Norton AFB at the time. The Squadron was tasked with sending airmen to assist the AF communications unit at the embassy in Riyadh. Female only. I suppose the young women chosen had a suitable attitude towards male companionship, because they all came back happy.

Along those lines, in 1989, I was on the USS LaSalle (CJTFME) and had to send tasking messages to tanker units getting ready to deploy to theater and remind them no females were permitted.
Had one unit arrive with a female boomer and when Saudi F-15’s checked in, heard her voice, they went straight back to their base, leaving the AWACs unprotected.
