Are Cruz supporters saying its impossible to shrink government and pay off national debt? Why are we electing Cruz again?
Cruz supporters want the status quo. Everyone else must be ridiculed.
They are! That's why the GOPe goes along with every spending plan...ever increasing debt and ever increasing spending. It's a gravy train for everyone involved in government and they're all getting theirs before it comes crashing down around them.
It's impossible to do it without cutting a lot of politically popular programs, none of which Trump apparently plans to cut.
Of course we could get rid of the national debt by shrinking government. But that’s not what Trump said — he said he would do it by changing our trade policies.
This makes no sense; how would changing our trade policies eliminate the deficit and the debt? The only way to do is to live within our means.
If Trump wants to reduce the size of government, I’m all for it. But I haven’t heard him say that.
