Isn’t it the party that has to be on the ballet, not the candidate?

Wouldn’t he just have to be selected as such a party’s candidate?

It’s called sore loser man laws. Because Trump has already run under RNC he is not allowed to switch parties. I will try to find the thread about it and ping you.

Where in the Constitution does it even mention political parties? See Article II, Section I, Clause V, for the exact eligibility requirements for being elected as president.

See anything about parties there? Nope.
