All the Southern States need to step up and call their bluff. North Carolina also should say if Pepsi pulls out all their products WILL be banned from the state of NC. Probably can’t do it but Bluff them anyhow
Wow, good to know we are getting diversity in executives, no more glass ceilings, ha! Thanks for the info.
It’s like they have to be on top of the newest happening thing.
It’s a favorite of mine.
The pro-”transgendered” propaganda never mentions things like:
- The middle-aged husband and father who left his family to go live with a couple as their little girl.
- The people who want their limbs chopped off, or have already had limbs chopped off, because they “identify” as amputees.
- Cases like the man who had his ears removed and now wants his nose surgically turned into a beak because he “identifies” with parrots; the woman who blinded herself (or was even aided by a psychotherapist) because she “identifies” as blind; and the woman who has had innumerable surgeries, including radical rib removals, because she wants to look like the cartoon character Jessica Rabbit.
Sooner or later a child molester is going to be publicly castrated, lynched & videoed before the police can intervene. The video would be most satisfying to watch.
I think it’s already happening in South America where street justice often overrides due process.
Meanwhile, stupid evil critics of the new North Carolina law want to facilitate outrages against helpless children.
“Better that a great millstone should be hung around his neck...”
Drink water.
But again, parents have to realize that the world can’t be their baby sitter either.
Somewhere, a water company is doing something wicked too.
Fortunately informed people have been turning their back on soda and similar soft drinks for years; Pepsi will be something they sell overseas to people who want to “play American”. At this point it isn’t difficult to find in supermarkets 5 2-liter bottles for $5; they had gotten up to nearly $2 for 20 oz. in vending machines when the bottom fell out of the brown sugar water market.
I’m pleasantly surprised at how many of my children’s friend drink little else but water; I assume they got into the habit playing sports, and it spread throughout the rest of their lifestyle, Some prefer spring water, my own are fine with tap as well, but they aren’t buying into the other products into which soda companies branched as America lost interest in soda...
I guess Pepsi also relinquishes it monicker ‘North Carolina beer’?.
Popularity only goes so far.
This is pure discrimination against people of faith.
Pepsi sucks so I can’t boycott it. I haven’t drank any in decades.
Since insanity has become accepted as normal and promoted as such in what used to be America. Sodomerica should be the name for the national funny farm now.
Store brand diet cola works for me.
Screw the fascists.
Oh, the company that promotes baby-killing and uses fetal cells in their products?
The pro-killing baby company wants to NOW create gender confusion in young children, warp their minds, corrupt their innocence and hyper-sexualize them with perversion and mental illness in Latency, so they are warped for life? And promote islamic ethics of sodomizing each other and teach little boys to have “pride” in anal sex, like little muslim boys do?
My family avoids “Pepsi” products like the plague, since No. 1....they are HORRIBLE for your body, and No 2. the company promotes evil.
The Swier article sounds misleading. Pepsico, for years, had been buying into a project that used such cells to supposedly evaluate the presence of flavor additives in concentrates that are used to make soft drinks. Not AS flavor additives, which would be weird (do you want Caucasian Cola?).
I’m not sure they ever achieved parity, let alone superiority, between this method and old fashioned chemistry buttressed by taste tests. And they dropped it. At one point they seemed even to have more virtue than Coca-Cola. Complex flavorings like the de-cocained cola additive, have many compounds, and a taste test is the best arbiter of what it is like. It sounds ridiculous to “ask” an embryonic cell whether this is a good batch of cola.
Anything not forbidden is good when kept in proportion, bad otherwise. The problem with theologies that are damnation heavy, is that they crowd out blessings of all kinds. Our naughty lists, rather than our nice lists, dominate our lives.
That said, one of the worst sins I think I ever sinned (in retrospect) was sinned while I was drinking a can of Pepsi. Go figure.
Contact the Governor to THANK HIM for signing the bill to protect Women and Children in NC
Thank you, Gov. McCrory for standing up for the safety and protection of women and children in your state!
I understand you are under a lot of pressure to backpedal on that decision, but please dont. Stand strong for the values that have made this country great.
Any state that honors basic safety and privacy rights for its own residents and tourists is a state I want to visit. Thank you!

I wrote to PEPSICO. I just asked them to stick to selling SOFT DRINKS...and JUNK FOOD, and don’t NEED to give their political views. They for sure never even read my letter, their automated response was this.
Thank you for sharing your views regarding our Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyis letter to Governor McCrory on HB 2. We understand and respect the fact that there are a variety of firmly-held views on HB 2.
We have great respect for North Carolina and its people. And as a major employer in the state, where PepsiCo is domiciled, we want to continue bringing the best and brightest to North Carolina and doing our part to make sure it is successful. That is why we expressed a view on the law.
While individuals may not always agree on important public issues such as this, one of the qualities that makes our country distinct is the ability to share different perspectives as part of a free and open society.
We appreciate your past support of PepsiCo.
Sincerely,
PepsiCo Consumer Relations
