On several occasions in October, Donald Trump tweeted links to stories at Prntly.com, a blog that didnt exist during the last election cycle. One story (now offline but copied here) indicated that Trumps support from blue-collar workers was the highest since Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930s.
Prntly popped up again last week as the source of a rumor about the Ted Cruz campaign. The site cut and pasted an old story about Cruzs campaign manager, Jeff Roe. The headline suggested that perhaps Roe had approved the ad attacking Melania Trump run by an anti-Trump super PAC, but it offered no evidence to that effect.
It was, in other words, a very typical Prntly article: Mostly content from somewhere else with an unabashedly pro-Trump frame overlaid, and then shared by one of the sites two apparent authors, Connor Balough or Shelby Carella.
The site itself, as it turns out, is a near-perfect reflection of the candidate that it loves. It, too, started out as a business that had nothing to do with politics. It, too, proclaims that it is the best. And it, too, is not afraid to just say anything that it feels like and hope that people flock to it as a result.
In its original iteration, Prntly was a printing business, founded by a guy from Albany named Alex Portelli. Portelli, 27, has run or currently runs a number of small businesses.
A few years ago, Portelli was arrested for selling ecstasy in Upstate New York and sentenced to prison. It was there, he wrote in a blog post a few years ago, that he embraced libertarianism...

A story with link and facts. We can’t have that now. /s
Cruz and Trump agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such. We should not allow stories like this to divide the anti-establishment votees this year.
Yes, some of us can support Trump and others can support Cruz, but we should do it respectfully as allies with similar goals, not as enemies who hate each other more than we hate the true evil of Obama and Hillary.
This is deep, following the FB link to Libertarian Troll. He also may run an anti-trump site called http://alibertarianfuture.com.
It had stuff like this....Donald Trump Just Admitted He Was A Hillary Clinton Plant The Whole Time
From the article: A comment on that post referring to the commenter as the author links to the Facebook page for Alexander Matthews, an apparent reference to Portellis middle name.... /end from article
The FB page is now deleted it seems.
From the article: Whats interesting about Alexander Matthews is that the Facebook profile uses an image of Bernie Sanders as its avatar. Thats probably because the account largely links articles to another site, MarshallReport.com, which appears to use the same infrastructure as Prntly but focuses on liberal politics, not conservative ones. (Both the MarshallReport.com and Prntly.com domains are registered to Portelli.) /end from article
So this fellow (or one of them) also is a troll that actually supports Bernie Sanders in real life.
So Trump fans are being trolled by a Berniebot to support Trump for some reason. I think we can figure out the reason (so his candidate Bernie has the easiest competition come November, ie. someone with high negatives).

Now for some fun, look at that thread, look who swallows it’s lies hook line and sinker... Then look who they support for president. YMMV...
Here is another article on FR that states Trump beating Hillary by huge amounts. Posted twice on FR. The website (powderedwigsociety) say is gets it’s information from Prntly.
Goldstategop and LS posted the articles.

The Washington Post is certainly qualified in the area of "fake news" web sites, since they represent an Establishment version of such a resource...
Completely understand, but it is list on the frontpage of FR as a media source.
The problem with that is one of those candidates is waging a scorched earth war against the other candidate. It isn’t about policy disagreements or about who’d be a better President. It is about crushing someone personally. There can be no alliance when one candidate calls the other mentally unstable, suggests that they’re an illegal alien, and attacks their wife. Would you ally with someone who did that to you?
Prntly.com. Never heard of them.
Is this a fake news article?
If Hillary wins, the best possible outcome would be another Civil War. To avoid that, yes, I’d ally with someone as rude and bombastic as Trump. I would not become close friends with him, but I’m still team up to avoid the otherwise inevitable outcome. To avoid that, I’d also overlook details like where Ted Cruz was born. Cruz was a US citizen at birth, and that’s also close enough compared with the bloody alternative.
I agree with you completely. I have stated on numerous posts that as a Cruz supporter I will gladly vote for Trump if he is the nominee. I have actually had some Trump supporters call me a liar when I stated that. I would rather have Cruz but I’m not married to the guy. Our ultimate goal is to keep Hillary’s fat a$$ out of the white house!!!
But the maps as I recall did not originate at that site, but rather from Chris Cilizza’s column in which he gave best case and worst case scenarios for all the candidates. I don’t think the maps originated on that site.
LOL! Fake article about a fake blog.
Oh, no, the cruzies are jealous again, why is it their guy, Rafael lyin, cheatin ted, Cruz, can never come up with anything of substance?
“......we should do it respectfully as allies with similar goals, not as enemies who hate each other more than we hate the true evil of Obama and Hillary.”....
Taking such a stance would surely not be acceptable with the media whores who want to keep the imaginary war between Trump and Cruz well kindled. God forbid the two get together and completely destroy the GOPeeeeeeee’s plan to get their own “wild card” candidate into place instead of either Trump or Cruz, its so obvious even a second grander can see it.
It is about crushing someone personally.
It’s about using saul alinsky tactic, say it often enough and they’ll believe it.
“Baby Killer!”
“LIAR!”
