One of the nation’s best-wired Republicans, with an enviable prediction record for this cycle, sees a 60 percent chance of a convention deadlock and a 90 percent chance that delegates turn to Ryan — ergo, a 54 percent chance that Ryan, who’ll start the third week of July as chairman of the Republican National Convention, will end it as the nominee.

How many candidates were in the field? Its hard to get a majority when votes are dispersed as they were, until fairly recently.
He still can’t get to 50% with a field of three. His percent of the vote has minimally increased despite the limited field. Try again.

As I told you before... I hope you are right. I don’t really see it working out that way, even if Cruz manages to install some of his supporters as Trump delegates. It is the GOPs convention, and they will do what they want.
But if they do install someone like Ryan they will lose in the general to the worst candidate ever. So on the other hand they might realize that they would be signing the party’s death warrant, so that might keep them with Cruz. They may feel like they can control Cruz especially since his wife is a globalist who works for Goldman Sacks. That is how Cruz wins not with the delegate “stealing” scam they are currently going with.
Why would they feel they could control Cruz. He’s already proven that they can’t.
Now, Trump is a different story. He loves ‘the deal’ and he doesn’t always win. His lack of political smarts that his trumpers adore would not serve him well when dealing with Congress.

Heidi is a smart woman who did not make her living by posing for Playboy. She worked at various jobs. Goldman Sachs is a byword for trumpers but they cannot prove that the company is evil or that all its employees are evil. That is stupid.
Trump’s probably dealt more with GS than either Cruz. And Heidi speaks English quite well.
While Heidi was Phi Beta Kappa at Claremont, under Dr. P. Edward Haley, we only have Donald’s word that, “I went to the Wharton School of Business.
I’m, like, a really smart person.” He also claims that he was a top student there. But as theNew York Times disclosed in 1984, Trump merely took classes at Wharton, but did not achieve an MBA.
Furthermore, Trump was not on the Dean’s list, which he would have been, if he’d exhibited any academic excellence, and there were no mentions of his name in the graduation program of attaining any honors, in any category – curricular or otherwise.
It seems to me that Heidi stands up pretty well against either Trump or Melania.
Democrats will stick together and vote for free stuff. We’ll just stay home if the other guys doesn’t win and pay for the free stuff. We are dumber than them. I hope all of you have plenty of survival stuff and have a deep urge to use it.
1. No facts to support the multiple ad hominems you tossed at Senator Cruz.
2. Your tagline makes no sense. To "go Galt" is to withdraw your productive self from society. One does not do that by voting for Trump. That in itself is an affirmative act.
I'm not sure where Trump would fit as a character in Atlas Shrugged, with his combination of bellicosity, deal making skills, and greasing the palms of politicians in both parties with the deftness of one that can toss a couple of quarters in a toll booth at 50 MPH.

ALTURA, WAKE UP! If what you believed were true Carl Rove, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Reince Priebus, Lindsay Graham, Mitch McConnell, the Bushes and the rest of the establishment goons would be lining up behind Trump, not Cruz. They are behind Cruz because he can be controlled; they have enough dirt on him to toss him aside any time that he steps out of line. Cruz is their tool; Cruz is their puppet. He will not change anything if he gets the presidency. If he somehow gets it will still vote for him because the Republicans are still much better than the alternative. But we might as well have Carl Rove or Jeb Bush in charge, the result would be the same.

It appears you are thinking about this in simplistic terms. I think you would agree that there are a lot of moving parts in this election cycle. But one thing is clear at this juncture: its highly likely that Trump will have a plurality of votes come convention time.
According to the tracking poll in the story below, a majority — 57 percent — of registered Republicans and Republican-leaners say that Trump should win the Republican nomination for president if he wins a plurality.
However, according to the same poll, if you support someone else then a small majority says he should not be the nominee. The point is, there is some complex political calculous underlying this nomination process. Its not as simple as just looking for a 50% number.
You’ll see other complications if you read the article. But however you look at it its remarkable that, in spite of a very large field of formidable contenders, that Trump has such a large lead. But as the Yogi Berra said, it ain’t over until its over.
Maybe he can run for the Governor of Massachusetts, he actually got a majority there!
I wouldn't vote for Cruz as VP, only as President.

They haven't cared about voters' wishes for a LONG time. Look how they treated the tea party. They would win in landslides if they paid attention to the voters, but they are determined to thwart our wishes--so they lose.

Don’t get me wrong. Cruz has as much right as anybody to continue on, but politically he is unintentionally helping the GOPE.
I’m sure before it’s too late Cruz will drop out and endorse Donald Trump. Cruz is a principled man.
There’s only one thing worse than a Trump nominee and that’s Cruz giving us Paul Ryan or Jeb Bush just like Rick Santorum gave us Mitt Romney.
