“Cruz is being used to block Trump. He doesn’t understand he’ll NEVER be in their club.”

It’s funny that the Cruz haters here truly believe that Cruz is such a moron that he fully believes that the establishment is turning to him as the nominee instead of Trump.

I also love the “a vote for Cruz is a vote for the establishment.”

Doesn’t matter the if Cruz or Trumo is the nominee. Once you wade through all the crap being said, these are still the two best chances for us to take America back.

May be. There is the law of unintended consequences. Ted was shocked that Mitch lied to him to get his vote. He ain’t as smart as some claim

Despite their widely aired differences, should Cruz unite with The Donald in a direct confrontation with the Establishment Republicans, by agreeing to be The Donald’s VP, there would not be a whole hell of a lot the Establishment could do about it.

Among people who keep and train horses, this is known as “taking the bit in the teeth”. A horse that does not want to submit to harsh training pushes the bit, using its tongue, up between the very powerfully muscled jaws and clamps down with the molars near the back of the jaw, making it impossible for the rider to control the animal through further pressure on the highly sensitive lips and tongue of the horse’s mouth. The next act of the horse is to run beneath a low-spreading branch of a tree or under an old-fashioned clothes line, raking the rider off to the ground.

Sometimes, to convince the horse, you have to be smarter than the horse.

I don't get how Cruz has crossover appeal outside his base. The theory I see is that Cruz will galvanize the base and that is how they win Trump has the ability to get the blue collar Democrats and expand the party.

Trump will destroy the GOP elite machine if he is elected...It will be totally necessary to take America back...Do you really think this GOP elite machine would put all their resources together including the media to back Cruz if he was going to destroy their operation??? Absolutely not...Trump is the only chance we've got...

If Trump is such a great deal maker why can’t he figure out a way to work with the GOP?

He gets along great with the Clintons, Reid, Pelosi, deBlasio and other liberals. He should be tight with the GOP.

Holy common sense Batman!
It is laughable and sad at how people allow their hate to blind their thinking.

Cruz was my first choice, now he’s my second (a very very close second at that). At some point very very soon (if not already) Cruz is indeed helping the establishment GOPe by denying Trump the 1237.

Don’t get me wrong. Cruz has as much right as anybody to continue on, but politically he is unintentionally helping the GOPE.

I’m sure before it’s too late Cruz will drop out and endorse Donald Trump. Cruz is a principled man.

There’s only one thing worse than a Trump nominee and that’s Cruz giving us Paul Ryan or Jeb Bush just like Rick Santorum gave us Mitt Romney.
