nah, just really pissed off.
I’m reeling from the stupidity of this column.
Town Hall! They’re still around?
I cannot believe Michael Barone wrote this. What the hell has happened to him?
It is what it is.
We are victims of the Washington establishment — GOPe, media, and democrats.
Words from the ivory tower that prove author knows absolutely nothing about Trump supporters
Barone sounds like a victim of Trump derangement syndrome.
The economist stated what the Trump anti business types can’t believe much less accept. The jobs would be gone movement or not.
That's kind of like the question Solzhenitsyn asked about the Stalin reign of terror. How was it, in a country known for its loyalty, did traitors all of a sudden start popping out of the woodwork, right and left, to the point where the Gulags couldn't hold them all?
Another pundit playing psychologist and analyzing all Trump voters. Their frustration in Americans not following their self proclaimed wise consul is getting to be comical.
Actually, he is absolutely dead on. He also recognizes that Trump supporters are not a homogenous lot.
Trump motivates different folks for different reasons but he motivatres them a lot.
The labor mobility statements are interesting. It is the various safety nets that prevent unemployed folks from moving from relative poverty to a better life.

He receives a paycheck from the “media-political conglomerate”. What’s not to understand?
You will need to explain your expectations to Mssr. Barone himself...if he can find the time to address your concerns.< /media-sequestering >
Barone ignored the despicable treatment of US veterans, and the ungodly government take over of medical care... Barone ignores the literal destruction of that former middle class. Barone use to be credible. Trump signifies returning the function of ‘government’ back to we the people.
I like your handle.
From whence does it derive?
So where do the coal miners of West Virginia move to when the entire industry is under attack nationwide? Where, exactly, is manufacturing booming in the U.S. to absorb those made jobless by the local plants closing if they simply moved?
I have a feeling that if legislation decimated the journalism industry, we’d get a lot more sympathy from them. Maybe a little more than just suggesting moving to where the jobs are...
You can bet that just about any headline that ends in a question mark is going to be slamming someone. It gives them a non-libel “out” to tongue-in-cheek accuse, or just plant doubts, in whatever subject or person they’re about to tear into.
Victims? I don’t think so. More like patriotic Americans following the constitutionally mandated remedies to stop a corrupt government.
College degree? Who needs a degree to know when they’re being lied to? To imply that a lack of a degree somehow implies that they are 2nd class Americans is rubbish. Look at the democrats...many of whom have degrees yet still vote democrat. They’re obviously not “degreed” enough to look around at all the mass failures of many democrat-led cities. They’re not “degreed” enough to know the history of socialist/communist governments around the world, most abject failures.
Modern college degrees only mean the students have completed indoctrination into progressivism, and spending their retarded adulthood looking for “safe spaces” and free I-Phones.
God help us if we base America on the current crop of “college graduates”. After all, they’re voting, en masse, for Bernie.
We’re not victims. We are smart enough to see America’s slide towards oblivion, and are moving to try and stop it. We’re smart enough to know historically what works to make America great, and what doesn’t. We’ve seen it. We’ve lived it. We know the difference.
Et Tu Barone? Shame on you for becoming a shill for the GOPe.
They are victims of political turncoats.
