Trump’s Deportation Plan Would Cost at Least $400 Billion
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 4/4/16 | Ali Meyer

Posted on 04/05/2016 6:38:02 AM PDT by Haiku Guy

Plan would take at least 20 years to implement.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s plan to deport all undocumented immigrants would cost between $400 billion and $600 billion and take at least 20 years to implement, according to a report from the American Action Forum.

The report estimates that there are currently 11.3 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the United States. To deport them, these individuals would have to be apprehended, detained, legally processed, and transported back to the country they originated from.

In order to do this in two years like Trump has proposed, the report estimates that there would need to be 90,582 federal immigration apprehension employees, 348,831 immigration detention beds, 1,316 immigration courts, 32,445 federal attorneys to process undocumented immigrants, and a minimum of 17,296 chartered flights and 30,701 chartered bus trips.

Non story, really, about her arrest, but mug shots are a resume enhancement for Liberals. LOL

OKLAHOMA CITY – Scott Hines is always in someone’s corner but it’s rare for that person in need to be a member of the News Channel 4 family.

But that’s exactly what happened.

Morning anchor, Ali Meyer, managed to get into a wee bit of trouble with the law.

She thought she’d taken care of the matter but then came a bombshell she never saw coming.

We immediately knew this was a job for Scott Hines and our In Your Corner team.

“I'm a law-abiding citizen, Scott," she said. "There are not warrants out for my arrest.”

Our team is used to chasing down our fair share of crooks but this was a first.

Ali said, “I get this in the mail, a warrant for my arrest.”

Turns out, since 2006, there's been a bench warrant out for Ali's arrest for an unpaid speeding ticket that’s more than 12 years old.

I am not going to bother reading this article as it is BS from the git go.

Step 1
No government assistance for anyone that is in this country illegally, that includes schools for children, welfare, translators and so on (exception would be medical emergency).

Step 2
Increase fines for business hiring anyone in this country illegally.

Step 3
Make it a felony to use a fake social security card to gain employment.

Step 4
Constitutional amendment stating a person born in this country does not automatically become a citizen if not one of the parents is a citizen.

Step 5
Put a tax on all funds transferred to Mexico, Central and south America by individuals

Step 6
Enforce existing immigration laws. Fingerprint and get DNA samples for anyone caught and deported, making it a felony to return.

Our borders can be secured and illegals can be encouraged to leave, but it will take the will of the people to see that it is done.

Unfortunately both political parties and the main stream media do not want that to happen.

It is going to take some major event to change the direction this nation is heading for. What that is I don’t know, but an election by it self is not going to do it.

How many trillion does the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama-Clinton non-deportation plan cost?

I believe I heard Trump say he would expedite their return. That will cost something.

It defies logic. Jobs held by invaders would be filled by US citizens, who would then be paying taxes instead of collecting benefits. All the freebies and programs invaders use would no longer be our burden. Schools would save massive amounts of money, especially considering the cost of special programs for those babbling in non-English. Many invaders send money home that would stay in the US.

Expenses go UP when invaders enter the system. OF COURSE expenses would go down when they leave. The difference would more than cover the cost of sending them home.

What do I know? I'm just trying to apply some logic to the situation.

And how much of our limited resources like fresh water are these illegals using up? and how much of that will be saved once they have been deported?

and take at least 20 years to implement

BS.

Cut off welfare, education, healthcare. Threaten mandatory jail sentences for illegals who are caught. Impose massive fines on companies that hire illegals.

80% of the problem would be self-correcting in less than 1 presidential term.

Then, there is the whine 'you can't deport 11 (30, more likely) million illegals.'

Mexico did.

While that is likely in the large urban areas, in flyover country the illegals have established jobs and are working to earn and finance families. I do not know the amount of free services but suspect it is not great compared to actual earnings.

there will likely not be mass migration out of flyover country

Yeah it’s bs. It would take 1 year to solve the illegal immigration problem and it would make money. Here’s how: Stop all benefits to illegal aliens. Make it illegal to hire illegals and enforce it. If a company is caught hiring illegals have a scaled fine based on the number of employees. Make it so it hurts. Background check companies will boom. Jobs will open up like never before. We’ll have to increase legal immigration to keep up with the demand for jobs. Illegals will self deport. This is just one step that can and should be done.

So what if it does cost $400 billion? For once, the government would be spending our tax dollars wisely.

Keeping them here for life costs us a lot more.
