Actually, giant mutant boars were featured in a Japanese anime movie: "
Princess Mononoke". I grabbed the above screen shots from that movie.
If you like Japanese anime, it's very good.

Well, the boars ain’t gonna breed successfully without sows.... And they don’t have to be radioactive to “breed like rabbits”. Feral pigs are great at adaptation, and it only takes a few generations for domestic stock to “breed back” to “wilder” forms.
