I know, right? This quote really stuck with me for some reason—probably because it says so much about Ted’s dishonesty.

And we know Ted is only enjoying Machine support until he’s useless.

Limbaugh points out Rove, Kelly and Krauthamer all remark on Trump’s strength and staying power after large defeat.

Hmm

Amazing that the guy who was holier than all the rest of us, who stood up to the establishment, the people he called the cartel. is now ok even if he sleeps around and throws in 100% with the cartel.

You need to look at why you really support this dude.

At least Krauthammer sees that even the base of Trump is now 35%. He is increasing his base no matter what Rush says.
Most of these states are having record turnout, truth is its because of Trump little else.

35% will not win the election. Neither the convention nor the general election.

Trump will be closer to 45% than 35% but thanks for playing. He’s got another popular vote rich state coming up in NY. Cruz will be the one floating around 35% when the primaries are done. Are you suggesting he is not worthy for the general? LOL.

Rush is no different than any other Republican on this board.

They are still unable to let go of the Republican party.

After I posted that, I looked him up on Wiki, just for giggles. Found out he passed in 08 and that his son was murdered in 2 WTC on 9/11.

In my mind’s ear I can still hear him talking about his beloved “Jints.”

“I know. It’s the same point we have made for a month. Cruz CANNOT win. He can’t even get to 1000. So what’s the end game?

The only end game for Cruz has to be deny Trump and force a brokered convention in which case he loses.

So that means that the ONLY conceivable goal Cruz has is to aid and abet the GOPe and get something in return”

100% accurate, IMHO.

Actually, no. The establishment, uniparty, oligarchy, whatever you want to call it, only wants candidates they OWN to be nominees. THEY DO NOT WANT BERNIE. For all his crazy socialist beliefs, he can’t be bought. For freedom loving constitutionalists, Bernie sanders - gasp - would be a safer Pres than Hillary or Cruz. Hard to believe but true. Bernie isn’t owned by the establishment.

And he won’t be able to do as much damage as he says. He might even deliver some necessary Econ lessons to his millennial followers. When they see that free stuff from the wealthy just doesn’t work. Too bad they didn’t just read atlas shrugged instead, though.

Better him than the cabal of globalists controlling our leader like a puppet: Hill is owned down to her cotton socks, and so now is Cruz.

I forget what show it was but Rush basically did a huge disclaimer for whatever he says during the primary.
I’m not buying it but it goes like this:
He went on a huge rant about how bad Hillary would be for the country on and on. truth is we all know that.
So he will have to explain his bias a lot better than that.

My guess is that Cruz actually has convinced himself that he can round up 1237 on the second ballot.

I can’t see what the GOPe could promise him that would keep him in just as a spoiler. If it’s paying off campaign debt or a SCOTUS slot Trump could make the same sort of deal. Cruz would be crazy to believe them. Trump at least has a history of deal making. The GOPe has a history of being barefaced liars.
