Is Wisconsin considered a swing state?

Yes, but not a swinger state, so you probably won't see Roger Stone there.

It’s not stealing if you are ahead. The Delegates should have the good sense to Nominate the more successful vote earner.

Cruz is playing games in Louisiana and elsewhere.

Cruz can't win the nomination outright and that will be made very clear by next week.

So, his goal has been to prepare for a convention fight, and stop Trump from winning outright, discounting the voters who voted for him.

Will not Trump be trying to steal Cruz delegates if no winner on the 1st Convention ballot?

It's not stealing if Trump does it. They were rightfully his in the first place because Trump is the anointed one. And we should amend the Constitution so the electoral college doesn't require a majority anymore to further legitimize Trump's candidacy.

Trump got 32.5% of the vote in South Carolina and 100% of the 50 delegates. So which voters is it that were discounted by this process again?

Where did Trump steal any delegates?

After next week, when Trump wins NY and Cruz has no shot at the nomination outright, we will see what Cruz's real goal is.

I guess everyone is a graduate of New Math. There is no way in hell that SCruz will reach 1237. And if you think the GOPe is going to allow SCruz to win on the floor, well, OK. Psssst, I have a bridge for you!

“Do you think maybe Jeb and Graham are supporting Cruz over Trump because of Trump’s relentless insults and/or harassment of them? “

Harassment? What are you some college millennial? That is the most bizarre attempt at painting them as victims I’ve ever seen.

#2 they are “supporting him” so he can suck up delegates, so they can dump him at the convention.

And all Trump needs to put Cruz completely out of contention is 37 more delegates! Once that occurs, look for the GOPe to turn on Ted, since he’s outlived his usefulness.

There you go, thinking in simple terms again - if Cruz can't get a majority of delegates before the convention, then Trump will win the nomination, right? Wrong. All Cruz and Kasich need is about 250 delegates between the two of them to force an open convention. At that point, Cruz is by far the best positioned to win a contested convention.

Giving out someone’s personal phone # on national TV is harassment.

Yeah, is it Canada or the USA? Choices, choices, choices?

Awfully boring, isn’t it?

But Trump cannot win.

He’s got only himself to blame. He coulda been a contendah.

Interesting that so many people in the exit polls said a Trump presidency is scary.

It is.

Even Trump does not know what he will say or think when he wakes up in the morning.

We have to wait for his tweet.

Fox News suggested a couple of weeks hiatus might be a good choice for Trump.

Once your momentum drops as precipitously as Trump’s has done in the last month, it is doubtful that it can be regained even if Trump were to pull back and act normal for a while.

Cruz’ goal is what he said in his speech last night, to win 1237 delegates either before or at the convention. From what I heard last night, Kasich and Rubio might be able to release their delegates on the first ballot, so Cruz could lobby for those. There is also a hefty chunk of unbound delegates, mostly from 3 states, that Cruz would lobby for. So if Trump falls short of 1237 even by 1 delegate, Cruz could theoretically win on the first ballot by getting all the unbound delegates to vote for him.

The only thing that’s sad about Trump losing the nomination ... and it’s only a teeny bit sad ... is that we won’t get to see him debate Hillary.

Now, that would be entertainment.

Rita, sorry but this is not just one state.

It is a state that Trump thought he could win but lost decisively.

Were you at all upset about the way Trump acted after the loss?

If he were my candidate I would be in total cringe mode.

It is symbolic of Trump’s downfall.

That is not ‘little Teddy’ as you so cutely call him, it is Ted Cruz on his own beating Trump ... and it is Trump beating himself.

Don’t be mad at Cruz or me. Be mad at your own candidate who has shot himself in the foot so many times he can barely walk to the mirror to do his comb over.

In this link, it states California is proportional. I’ve also read it is winner take all. If it’s winner take all by congressional district, then it’s proportional. Correct?
