Will Trump Drop Out?
Wall Street Journal ^ | 04/06/2016 | James Taranto

Posted on 04/06/2016 11:02:36 AM PDT by Responsibility2nd

“[Donald] Trump’s second-place finish to Sen. Ted Cruz (Tex.) in Tuesday’s Wisconsin Republican primary may represent no ordinary setback,” write the Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty, Jose A. DelReal and Robert Costa. “It appears to be a pivot point—although it has yet to be seen whether the trajectory from here points downward or upward.”

~snip~

The last time he faced the prospect of venturing into hostile territory—when his rally in Chicago was overrun by left-wing disruptors—he ended up bugging out. If he fails to secure a majority of delegates, perhaps rather than endure defeat in Cleveland he will find a way to withdraw ungraciously before the convention.

Wishful thinking by the anti-Trump crowd. No way he’s dropping out before the convention.

Didn’t say he was dropping out before the convention.

Said AT the convention.

By the rules, candidates are not permitted to release their candidates to another candidate. On the first ballot they are bound. On the second ballot, they are free.

“Yeah, it’s a stupid story. uh-huh.

From the freakin’ WALL STREET JOURNAL”

So? Oooooooh the “FREAKIN’” Wall Street Journal!!!!!

Watch me bow at the alter of the dead tree publication that you have constructed.

That is supposed to make this into something sane? You even have Cruz supporters here calling it stupid.

Does anyone here really think Trump wants to be POTUS and actually govern this country? His “interviews” on substantive matters are a joke. It’s all about him. He has no core beliefs and hasn’t thought thru these positions in order to make coherent responses.

Interestingly, I read an article in a lib publication that flatly said that Sanders hasn’t thought thru issues and solutions much either. It show the mood of the American voter that protest candidates with no real platform are doing so well.

LOL!

The DemUniparty had its voter footsoldiers around Milwaukee pull the lever for the RepUniparty patsy, Ted Cruz - because they KNOW he's the guy that will lose to the Democrat nominee in the general election.

20,000 shifted votes in Waukesha County can't be wrong. :)

Trump supporters aren’t going to support Cruz. There’s been too much duplicity in the Cruz “win at all costs” campaign. Cruz won’t get crossover votes. Haven’t you gotten the party insider memo? It’s “lose with Cruz”.
