A teacher in the Connecticut town that was site of one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history was arrested Wednesday after police say he brought a gun onto school grounds.
Jason M. Adams, a teacher at Newtown Middle School, was carrying a concealed firearm for which he had a permit, Newtown police said. He was stopped inside the school by security personnel Wednesday before 9 a.m., the Newtown Public School District and police said.

The teacher had to know about the school gun policy.
I can’t believe he made a decision to CCW at the school without a reason.
What was he aware of, that he thought having a gun at school was a good idea ?
Local news says they don’t why he brought it to the school, but did hear it was an AR15.
I think that is paranoia speaking, I understand your concern but the law would basically state, if you have a CCW from Florida it is good in all 50 (57) states. Just like a driver’s license.
It would help keep innocent gun owners from facing 3 year prison terms because they brought their legal gun into the People’s Republic of New Jersey.
However it would force states that allow conceal carry without a permit in state to issue conceal carry permits to citizens who want to carry out of state.
I am originally from New Jersey, now calling Texas home. I have written off the northeastern states.
