What he didn’t say was that Hillary is running...

Remember Kasich said months ago, “ I will be the nominee”.

It probably will be Kasich, whom I can’t stand...he’s a nobody. But I’d vote for him because he’s not insane and he does have some GOP positions. I don’t like Cruz but I’d vote for him because he has some genuinely conservative positions.

Trump is an insane banana republic candidate who has absolutely no conservative principles, and there’s no way I’d vote for him.

I hate the fact that it will be Kasich though.

This speculation has become a very popular Guessing Game for conservatives. Perhaps ‘Shell Game’ or Hobson’s Choice would be more accurate descriptions.

From the article: “The GOPe will ensure that the RULES Committee changes Rule 40 so as to enable Kasich to be the GOP nominee in a contested/brokered convention in July.”

I don’t see how that happens. Rule changes have to be voted on by the delegates. 80% of the delegates will be Trump or Cruz delegates. Both have pledged not to change rule 40. So how do you change the rules in that situation?

The GOPe has made MANY bad decisions over the past two decades. MANY. And now probably another one which will end the Repub party as THEY think it is....new party to replace them enter stage left...

Yeah, go ahead, Preibus, pick Kasicko so I can see what the Constitution and Libertarian candidates advocate, because I’ll be voting for one of them instead.

Nitwit.

"one of the three candidates currently in the running — Trump, Cruz, Kasich — WILL BE the nominee."

It absolutely, positively, will definitely be one of those three........until it isn't.

The rules for the 2016 convention have not yet been voted on. 2012 rules do not apply.

Why should Kasich be eliminated? Cruz will be in the same boat as Kasich, two weeks from now...

If he is actually correct, then it seems that not only do the voters not have a say, but even the delegates may not have a say. Does he actually have the power to limit the candidates, if the rules are no longer in effect?

What Priebus should be worrying about is how HE is going survive this mess he is causing...

He thinks he’s the god of the RNC and that we the people don’t have a say, well I have something to say:

‘BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOUR SAYING AND DOING’!!!

Can someone explain to me why the GOP has WANTED to lose the past 2 presidential elections by putting forth 2 loser candidates? And why they want to drill a hole in the bottom of the victory boat by backing a 1-state winner RINO like Kasicko? Why are they considered a valid political party then? Isn’t the aim of a political party, like an army, to WIN?
