A Republican nominee pushing back against Democrats... has this phenomenon ever been observed outside of the laboratory?

Watching Cruz attempt to kiss up to Trump supporters would almost be worth watching.

Keep bangin' that bible Terd Snuz. No sale.

Highly doubtful.

The way the Trump vs. Cruz "discussions" are going here, we'll never unite.

Some Trump folks say they'll never vote Cruz and likewise for Cruz supporters.

And the 'rats are just loving our in-fighting.

Excellent post, as always..perhaps Ronald Reagan won in 1980 because he was able to show people how bad it really was (Carter had tried so hard to convince them not to trust their Lyin’ eyes),and showed how there was hope. So, essentially, he ran a ‘Hope and Change’ campaign before Obama did. Then along comes Obama, and he is able to show people how bad they thought it was, and he creates an illusion of a plan of hope. And he got elected. My point is, that Rush Limbaugh is right: the key to winning the Presidency is to: show how bad it really is, and have a plan for why people should have hope. Trump and Cruz will not get anywhere by attacking each other - they need to identify what is wrong repeatedly and state their plan to overcome it. Neither has done a very good job because they have had to attack/counterattack, which has sucked all of the oxygen out of their messages. Someone better be figuring out, or the Democrats will make mincemeat out of either of them. My advice, state your plans..Convince people by facts and not emotion.., just like Reagan did...
