Cruz didn’t need to hide behind veterans to run from a debate, nor did he want to hide from the debate. Trump did. It was shameful, and FReepers would not have defended any other candidate doing the same. Trump could have held his “fundraiser” at any other time, but he was just doing it to hide from the debate.
Trumps not hiding from anyone. Hiding behind Carlys skirt on the other hand, shows me that Cruz isn’t fit to lead anything. Thats shameful. He’s a young guy, time to work on his chops for next time.
