Agree. Where I see this going is that they will "discover" that fingerprints are not nearly as efficient or "secure" enough, for some of the reasons listed by astute posters on this thread.
The Mark of the Beast will be implemented someday, as you and our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ know full well.
That will be a definite mark.
