Jeff Roe is an idiot for the village. Makes me question Cruzs sanity

No need to question Cruz' sanity, he already established that he either has the worst political judgment in history OR he is indeed INSANE for bringing THIS lunatic on board:

You are absolutely correct regarding Cruz following the rules, and I will support whoever wins according to the rules as they are currently written. Trump as a businessman played by the rules when some of his businesses lost money and declared bankruptcy - and his (or precisely his companies’) investors lost a lot of money. As a politician there are rules, he just hasn’t been as good as Cruz learning what they are and appears childish when complaining about whatever Cruz does as Cruz expertly plays the long game.

Now if the “party” finds a way to change the rules (which technically the incoming delegates can do), and someone other than Trump or Cruz is selected, the party is over.

“making terrible people out of those of us who actually would like to win the White House back?”

You’re a liar. You made yourself a terrible person. And like
a typical liberal, you blame other people for it.

The reality is Cruz will be mathematically eliminated by the end of the month.

Check your math ... he will be mathematically eliminated in NY.

It sure resonated with me.

But then, I gave up on the place almost 50 years ago, because of those same “New York values”. I can remember when there was actual reason to call New York The Empire State - with pride.

Now, it’s a Democrat controlled tax-crazy, over-regulated union hell-hole. There are still pockets of resistance up-state, but the war has been lost for a generation.

If I were Ted Cruz, I wouldn’t waste too much of my time or resources in such a place. New York has to be a project for later. Re-education camps for libtards, anyone?

RE:”Why do you persist in making a fool of yourself?
You’re not making points with the Cruz folks, because they realize Cruz is done.”

Your question is very reveling, about your own intentions.
Unlike some others, I do not pick who I support or oppose here in the short term just to be popular.

I do it based on conviction.

In this case I have long term friends who we disagree on this, the real ones are staying with me past this.
Here’s a great example of the opposite of that, a moral cancer:

I had one freeper who used to make believe he was my friend. My good Friend at times.
And back in the early Obama days I used to point out that GWB;s decision to go unto Iraq was a huge mistake, You know what this so called Friend used to ping me with?(for all to see)

That I was talking like a Democrat. He would ping me publicly and tell me to stop spreading Dem talking points.

Why? Because this spineless jellyfish saw that as popular here at the time, and HE wanted to be one of the majority mob at the time, .

Now Trump went even further. He accused GWB of outright lying to get support of the Iraq invasion.

I never ever posted that because I didn’t believe it.
You know what THAT same convenient patriot’s position is now?

He supports Trump who says that GWB lied us into this war,
He has no shame in his flipping 180s on positions to join the current angry mob of the day.

Just like his hero Trump.

Well I despise such moral situational prostitution

Don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

I have told you this more than once.

Of all the freepers who I have disagreed with at different times, with a few others, I have always liked and respected you because of how civil your comments and responses were to me.

Even when you seemed frustrated with them.
I could never attack you personally the way you behave with such class.

And the next election we may disagree. And you will still be one of my favorite freepers,

We do? I'm a Cruz supporter and I didn't know I realized that. Thanks for telling me what I think, D-man. It's always nice to be educated by supporters of "the leader", you guys are so smart.

I don’t think Bush lied, and I defended his entrance into Iraq.

Iraq would look a lot different to day if we had some presidents who had half a clue.

I remember the things Hussein was doing.

For the life of me, I do not see what you folks see in Cruz.

The guy has been coming down on the Leftist side a numerous issues.

In 1999 he was helping Bush formulate press briefings on to deflect taking action on illegal immigrants. He claimed he helped stop the Gang of 8 Bill. Only thing is, the Gang of 8 Bill passed in the Senate. He stated he only proposed the increase of H1-B visas to 500% of it’s then current level, as a poison pill. And then up until last year he was still pushing for this.

He said he took a stand voting for Corker to stop Iran getting nuclear weapons. So did every Democrat. Obama signed it. This was Ted one more time telling us one things and siding with the Democrats.

On the TPP Ted told us he didn’t want it. Problem is, he had written an Op Ed with Paul Ryan to support TPA, something that had to fall into line for TPP to be implemented. So Ted did radio and television interviews for TPA. Then he voted against it.

Several weeks ago he said he didn’t want a floor fight at the Convention. Now he’s fighting to make sure there is a floor fight at the convention.

He endorsed Roberts, the step-father of Obamacare. He single-handedly resuscitated it.

Who was he meeting with a few weeks back for strategy sessions? Jeb and Neal Bush, Ryan, and Kasich.

Notice the RNC never leaks information about special meetings to block Cruz? Notice how the Speaker and Majority Leader talk down Trump?

Cruz is in cahoots with them.

Sorry, Cruz is not who you think he is, and on top of that the guy has no past experience that qualifies him to be president.

So, no, I’m not backing him and I would like to see Conservatives wake up.

Transparent? Who said I was trying to be transparent?

I don’t believe I ever thought you were being racist.

I will admit to addressing some issues from time to time along those lines, but they have to be race based. Disagreeing with Obama is a natural for us based on policy and I would not take someone to task on race over that.

Please don’t think I thought you were inferring that with me. I don’t at all. I do like to address concepts sometimes to lay down what my guidelines are, while on the topic.

I’m not always pleasant. Sometimes I get worked up. Perhaps that’s a serious fault of mine. I’m open to the criticism on that.

In my life, I have had knock down drag out fights with people who were honest with me. The next day we realized we had been friends for a long time, and we were fine. We both know where the other stood. I must prefer that to couching my thoughts.

Take care.

Bush didn’t lie. Rather he was a moron who took us into a needless conflict w/disastrous consequences, because he was too stupid to grasp a core conservative precept. A prudent leader needs to be able to correctly asses the consequences in the future of actions taken in the now!
We got Obama because we had Bush. Stone cold reality!!!

So?

That doesn’t mean Donald Trump will either. :(

I don’t think things work the way you think they do, a plurality of delegates on the first ballot doesn’t get Trump nominated. ;(

Yes, but we didn’t get Obama because of the war.

We got Obama because Bush didn’t address the lending crisis before it melted down. Bush handed off a seriously screwed up nation.

I’m not going to argue the Iraq war again. I will say that I remember the dynamics of the region at the time, and think Hussein needed to go.

If you think Cruz walking into the convention with 850-900 delegates is going to play well when he strives for the delegates from a man that has 1175, I think you’re wrong if you think folks are going to praise him for doing that.

Most people I know think that the man that earned the most outright delegates deserves the nomination.

By hook or by crook, isn’t how most folks run their lives. They expect things to play out fairly, and if they don’t they are going to be seriously angry over it.

You put in long years at work building rapport with the staff, outside contacts and learning the business. You’ve paid your dues.

In walks a good looking woman, flirts with the boss, and your V.P, position is gone.

Trump fought Ted on the up and up, and most folks think that means Trump should get the nomination.

If Cruz pushes this and wins, I think Conservatism will be the ultimate loser.
