Donald Trump’s Anachronistic View of Women
American Thinker ^ | April 8, 2016 | Steve McCann

Posted on 04/08/2016 8:23:53 PM PDT by Kaslin

That Donald Trump is having a serious problem with the women’s vote should not be a surprise as he is an anachronism in his outlook towards the opposite sex. While he has adapted to some degree, as he does employ women executives in his real estate development and marketing business, Trump is, as were many of his generation, a product of the male chauvinist mindset of the 1950’s and 60’s.

I am a few years older than Trump and during the 1960’s I was also steeped in the then-prevalent male outlook towards women. The philosophical outlook of Playboy magazine and its founder Hugh Hefner, as well as the cultivated image of womanizing male stars in the entertainment media, was the guiding light for many of us. Women, in general, were simply targets for conquest and notches on the belt. They were sexual objects and thus viewed subconsciously as being inferior to men.

The feminist movement, together with the so-called sexual revolution of the 1960’s which was supposed to liberate women, exacerbated this male mindset. Sexual conquests became routine as there was, in many cases, no thrill of the chase as far too many women were willingly seduced by the philosophy of free love. A set of tenets was widely embraced, claiming that by flaunting their sexual freedom women would be able to shed any inhibitions and declare their independence from the oppressive hand of males. In the end, all this accomplished, insofar as many men were concerned, was to further cement the male chauvinist mindset of women being primarily sexual objects.

Goodness, that guy interviewing is really trying to snooker those women. He’s trying to trick them into saying something they would never normally say (or think).

Note to self: never agree to an interview with CNN.

Great! After 75 years, this guy has “found his voice” as a true feminist and now has decided it’s his job to make up women’s minds for them. How very condescending.

Seriously?

What is the purpose of such an article? Is it to convince women not to vote for Trump, presumably because no man his age can accept women as human beings? Really—if the majority of men of his generation did not accept women as human beings, the “feminist” movement would have gone nowhere.

Ladies, don’t fall for it. This is how the left suppresses the conservative vote in order to keep socialists in office to destroy the country. The left wants to keep effective conservatives from ever reaching office—remember that, keep it in mind any time you read a news piece about conservative candidates.

This is “Principled Conservatism” according to the Book of Cruz. Bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz has set back conservatism a decade with his over the top smears of Trump.

McCann is wrong. Trump’s attitudes towards women has changed along with most of the men of his generation. It is reflected in his record of hiring women for his corporations. His attitudes towards women was also on display during his “Apprentice” series. That Trump isn’t overwhelmingly “popular” amongst ‘all voters’ women is because there is a sizeable chunk of ‘all voters’ women who are supporting Bernie Frank and another chunk tied at the hip to Hillary. Trump certainly hasn’t lost women voters to Cruz.

Oh noes!
He thinks that women are weaker than men?
He thinks that they cannot lift as much weight as men? They cannot run as fast as men? They cannot fight like men?
Oh no!

He probably thinks they look better in lingerie than men do as well!
HELP! I am being micro agressed by trump and his beautiful collection of females in the family.
They ALL look better than me when I am working out... I feel shamed and depressed... I need my safe space...

Damn, even my grandma was weaker than me, and prettier at 85 than I was at 15... I feel so, so diminished.

I feel better now... because I have decided to go to my safe space, at the range to run a couple hundred rounds through my 45... seeya’ll... gotta go to my safe space now... my trigger finger is twitching...

“Anachronism”: a thing or person that belongs to an earlier time.

I’m an anachronism too. Go Trump.

Some conservative, indeed. Using liberal tricks to smear the top candidate is hardly a conservative tactic. I'm fully convinced, Cruz is no different than those greedy lawyers one sees on TV all the time promising to sue and get big money for people. The facts don't matter, winning does.

I’m a woman who CANNOT WAIT to vote for Trump! Finally a once in a lifetime to make things right for the citizens of the United States of America.

It won’t come again thanks to the corruption flowing in D.C. and surrounding areas due to all the taxpayer dollars available to steal.

You are the one who is ignoring the truth. Trump is as pro women as they come. And he even does something crazy. He treats them as individuals and rewards quality and smart ones.
He doesn’t have binders full of them like idiot Romney.
