In brief, Cruz has a ground game and Trump doesn’t although Trump had the millions to organize one. He thought just the sound of his voice would cause the Republican apparatus to fall and worship at his feet.

Cruz knew you have to campaign from the ground up and that is winning for him the states that require grass roots organization to win.

What’s important about this is at that the candidate with no ground game in November is going to lose every time.

That’s the major disadvantage to Trump and Bernie. They may be more personally popular but if they don’t have the local organizations doing the get-out-the-vote work, they’re not going to capture the brass ring. You may not like hearing that, but it’s the political truth.

“One candidate is part of the system and knows how to manipulate it.”

Then tell your boy to man up and cash in all the chips he's accumulated buying off politicians for decades.

He's the smartest businessman on the planet.......according to himself.

“One candidate is as sleazy and corrupt as the system who created him.”

Would that be the one who was a registered Democrat, donated to Democrats and self-identified as a Democrat or the one who was registered with the Reform party?

Oh wait...........

Michigan voted already. It’s done and over and trump won. Enough!

That’s what happens when you have a Washington elite insider running like Cruz. It doesn’t matter Michigan already voted and trump won the delegates. It’s over and done.

All our lives we trusted our election system, we didn't know that there were people who were trying to take away our votes. Now we are beginning to see this. From our childhoods we saluted the flag and were taught about George Washington and what an honorable and fair place America is.

James Madison had it right: “There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurptions.”

Sorry I did not realize it was a joke. Just trying to keep the facts out their. There has been a lot of smears that are not based in actual facts.

Once again sorry.

Yes I thought that to till I learned were my vote counts the most. That is at the delegate level. Some Trump people are just finding this out and they are screaming that Cruz cheated.

Facts are stubborn things. And the fact that they were not informed of how the delegate selection works does not make Cruz a cheater.

Maybe now they will get involved and make a difference where it counts. I know some Trump supporters figured this out here in my area and actually got involved. Some are delegates now.

Cruz knew the rules and has been using it to get delegates that Trump did not work at getting because he did not know the rules well enough.

It’s too bad Cruz didn’t know the rules about being an American citizen before running for President? He knows the rules when it benefits him but totally ignores them when it doesn’t benefit him. What a fine and honorable President he would make. SSSSS hissed the snake.

Cruz was disliked because he cut to the front of the line. He didn’t wait his turn as he was supposed to. All of the fine speeches were to impress the voters, the insiders in the Senate knew what he was doing.

Paul Manafort apparently doesn't know what he is talking about.

The "reported voting issues" were in Williamson County, not Travis County and they amounted to nothing more than someone using a touchscreen and an adjacent name was selected similar to what anyone experiences on when texting a message on their phone. There was a confirmation screen at the end in case the person missed their selections the first time.

I would suspect that his other instances are probably just as bogus.

Most people in Colorado who are into pot are in the other party, and except for a few hard-core libertarians, are probably not present in the Republican system in large enough numbers to be a voting block.

Republicans I know who are religious enough to be Cruz supporters are militantly opposed to pot. All of them I can think of believe that banning pot at the federal level is so important that this is one case where the Tenth Amendment should be set aside.

In the early 20th century when the teetotalers banned booze at the federal level, they did it properly. They understood that the federal government had no such authority and they got an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I have had great difficulty explaining this to local "conservatives."
