So many great musicians have come from New Jersey...pop, rock, jazz, blues and soul- you name it.
I never did understand all of the hype around the *Boss*
Even worse, the perpetuation of the “Springsteen Sound” with New Jersey musicians....all trying to be like him.
I was a huge Bruce fan when he was just starting out playing high school gyms and dive bars. I went backstage at the little clubs at the seashore to chat with him and called him on the phone as well. For me, he sold out after his first two albums when he stopped doing truly artistic, conceptual songs and started doing the heavy pounding head banger crap like “Bown in da Yoo Ess A.” That’s when the brilliant David Sancious shipped out.

Didn't he play in some band with Frank Sinatra?
Springsteen isn’t just a legendary classic rock musician, but also a businessman. He has to make his own decisions as to how he manages his professional affairs and it’s not the government’s place to force him to play or stay away. No doubt many of his fans are very disappointed, but the market will react to his decisions as it does in any line of private enterprise. (Though frankly, Bruce is probably immune to market forces at this point because he clearly doesn’t need to sell any more tickets or albums at this late stage in his career.)
Springstein is a goosestepping fascist trying to bully states into accepting the lefts homo agenda. They want to make an example out of North Carolina so other bigger states like Florida or Texas do not follow this path.

So, Springsteen does not care about the rights of women to not have men coming into their restrooms and locker rooms.
Yes, he’s happy to have his daughter at Duke, but punishes his fans by boycotting his own concert. To heck with the jobs of the promoters, parking lot guys, and everybody else whose livelihood depends on the venue.
Typical bullying tactics. You know, guys on the right just don’t do this. It’s always the lefties that want to punish people for their views, or in this case, for living in a particular state!
Something’s bent with that kind of thinking. No wonder the guy has been in psychotherapy for 30 years for what he describes as “self loathing”. Maybe leftism really does stem from mental illness. None of them seem terribly happy.

If they keep this up, NC just might be a pleasant place to visit as opposed to some of the other so called “tourist attractions” that are about to become havens for perverts.
Bruce is working on being relavent, people shold not go to his shows or listen to hos music.

I never liked his music and could not understand the hysteria surrounding him, especially in the 80’s. He always sounded like a constipated moose. Springstreet the Boss? My ass! The guy never worked a day in his life. Do you think he does his own plumbing and electrical repairs in his mansions?

Yep, I have added myself to the burgeoning “I loathe Bruce” movement that he founded. Up until now, and for 30 years, Mr. Springsteen apparently held all spots in the organization. Luckily, the membership rolls are filling rapidly.
