This is a great deal for the GOP. They get the delegates to vote as a practice vote. If they do not get the outcome they want they expel the problem delegates and put the right ones in to vote the way they want.

There are three ways of fixing this.

• Reform State by state rules so that primaries replace caucuses and the delegates get selected by the candidates and are allocated based on the primary votes.
• Modify National GOP the rules requiring states to do above. Maybe Trump and Cruz delegates can do this.
• Switch parties. But this should be a last resort. Most other parties don't even have primaries, because they are so small. So it's better if we can fix the existing party.
