rules change, and dictators, Stalin etc use the rules too.

You keep repeating the establishments talking points and it makes you no better than the scumbags who are in the establishment.

If Mr. Trump and his staff had been able to work a “deal” like this one, I guess some of the Trump supporters would be writhing in orgasmic delight, while telling us that the Colorado coup had proven once again how brilliant Mr. Trump is at organizing and executing a complex operation.

News flash... I would NOT support Trump stealing your vote. It is so very strange how much into sexual innuendos Cruz and his supporters present themselves... Rat - copulating, 'orgasmic delight'...

>> the Colorado rules were very well known long ago <<

Rules are for little people, not for a world-historic leader like Mr. Trump. Didn’t you know?

Back-room politics TRUMPS your thinking and FCK the 'VOTERS' then?

A bunch of committee people get to decide so FCK the 'VOTERS'?

You're no different than the DC crowd we've all been fighting against.

You people are NOW also part of the PROBLEM!

Apparently, Trump thought all he had to do is call people names, retweet lame memes and issue veiled threats to be the nominee.

It’s neither the fault of Cruz nor the GOP that that’s not the case.

Cute, the vote was not rigged, who could vote was. How does one vote when they are not allowed into the voting area? If you were not a GOPe hack official, you were not allowed in, period.

Now then, how does this make Cruz’ vaunted “ground game” look. Did he set up that plan or did the GOPe. Seems to me it was the GOPe, not Cruz, that set that up. They gave him all the votes because they felt he was the grass roots tea party candidate because contrary to the notion it was Cruz who set up the plans, the GOPe set them up because they abhorred being made irrelevant by the Tea Party in 2010. So, since they did not want the unwashed dictating a candidate any assumption they clamored for Cruz or it was his plan that worked is without merit.

Sorry to have offended you. It's just too easy to get carried away these days!

Therefore, as Mr. Trump sometimes does after making an intemperate remark, please allow me to restate my comment, without the blatant sexual innuendo:

If Mr. Trump and his staff had been able to work a “deal” like this one, I guess some of the Trump supporters would be writhing in orgasmic delight bubbling with joy, while telling us that the Colorado coup had proven once again how brilliant Mr. Trump is at organizing and executing a complex operation.

The “delegate fight” is a fundamental, corrupt part of the primary process - (as practiced in Colorado)

"It's not Cruz's fault" is the beginning of virtually every sentence from a Cruz supporter.

It's not his fault that he has passed virtually NO meaninful legislation, not his fault Ben Carson's campaign was submarined, not his fault he was a Canadian citizen until recently, not his fault he's a lawyer, not his fault he supported TPP, not his fault he voted FOR reducing veteran's benefits. and on and on and on.....

NOTHING is fault of the anointed one. Just ask one of his supporters.

It’s not a crooked deal. It’s certainly undemocratic, but the Colorado rules were very well known long ago, and those insider rules were followed. Had Trump played by those rules, instead of ignoring the state, he could have done quite well.

Trump could have “done well”? While the Colorado GOP is tweeting Never Trump? Yeah, right. LOL.

Speaking of calling names, you should not say "Trump." It's not sufficiently respectful. Please call him "Mr. Trump."

Why? Because Gov. Chris Christie calls him Mr. Trump. And if a powerful governor does so, then you and I should do the same.

Trump is right that what happened in Colorado stinks, though I'm less impressed with his complaints about what is happening in other states.

But the fact that he's getting outmaneuvered here is a bit of a red flag. He's been criticized for much of the campaign for lacking specifics, and the attitude among some was that was okay because they were confident he was pointing in the right direction. But what is happening in states is a good illustration of the reality of governance v. campaigning.

Governments don't govern via intentions, motives, attitudes, or whether or not their hearts are in the right place. They govern via hard, written law. And paying attention to the details, the objective, written law rather than the attitudes behind it, is of critical importance for a successful Presidency. Otherwise, you end up with a badly drafted law that results in all sorts of consequences nobody intended.

I don't expect any candidate to read personally every rule or every law. But I do think it critical that they understand the importance of written rules/laws, and make that a priority in terms of assigning sharp people to comprehend them. And Trump has just failed on that score.

Trump finally hiring Manafort is a good sign, but they're going to be playing a lot of catch-up, and it 's probably too late to undo a lot of the damage that has been done.

Being President is about more than just being able to rouse supporters with speeches.

Most Cruz supporters are sexually repressed evangelicals or Mormons who are guilty of some past aggression they just can’t seem to resolve.
