“It screams KING ... and it screams SAVIOR..... It doesn’t scream Constitution. “

Yet you celebrate a voterless victory for Cruz? Just more proof the fascist type of personality Cruz is.

“Hallelujah! Glory be! Shout it out loud, my brother, shout it out loud!”

You clearly mistake repulsiveness for wit.

“Yep, those rules about putting a business into the “chapter” are really neat!”

Not nearly as neat as Cruz party hacks denying an entire state the right to vote.

I'm just convinced that America want's a king. The left wanted King Obammy, the savior of the downtrodden. Now the trumpsters want King Trumpy, the savior of the politically incorrect. :)

No doubt America is right where Israel was in 1st Samuel 8. Israel wanted a king. They rejected what God had provided and wanted a king. God gave them a king. America is rejecting what God has gifted us with. Our constitution. Instead everyone wants a king who they think will do their bidding.

I see that most in the trumpeters (Hail King Trumpy)... and in the Bernnie maniacs.... (Feel The Bern).

Just my always humble opinion :)

. the type of campaign Trumpy has run... he should have ran as an independent.

Nope. He is forcing the gop to do their corrupt acts in the light of day for the world to see. Most of us will never be back.

It is simply amazing that they had the foresight to do that on August 25,2015.

I agree with your assessment of Trump.

I really liked "Mister Rogers" but I'd never vote for him for pres.

I don't really like Trump but he's exactly what we need and he'll get my vote.

After New York we will start seeing less and less of Cruz (my original choice before he BLEW it)!

Most of us will never be back.

The deal is ... that doesn't matter. If we all leave the republican party. They'll nominate whomever they chose and then in November we'll vote for who they nominate, or we'll vote for Hillary..... or we'll vote for a libertarian. Or we'll write someone in. That hasn't changed.

Look at it this way... there is no advantage to the republican party if you stay a registered republican. Heck, most states even have open primaries.

I've always voted for whomever I thought was the best candidate in the various elections. Haven't you? Nothing changes if you and I leave the party.

hate to rain on your parade, but Cruz read the rulebook, and played by the rules, no matter how byzantine. . .

Say what you want but the optics of this is really bad and it will leave the general public to think that not only is the GOP crooked, but also Ted Cruz.

Cruz announced he was running for the presidency March 23, 2015.

Then enlighten us Constitutional expert. Where does the word Delegate occur in the U.S. Constitution?

Of course you are right, Rules are Rules. And you have every right to be happy with the backroom dealing of Mr. Cruz. And you have every right to arrogantly shove our faces into the dog manure of the GOPe.

And the 40+% of the GOP base will ruminate on just what good winners you are as we sit home on November election night and watch Mr. Cruz, or whomever the elitists select, go down in flames.

Are we worried about the communist takeover of the USA, its legislature, courts, and executive branch? Of course we are. But we now know it is out of our hands completely. We have no say in the destruction of the Republic.

The better question is where does the term Republican or Democrat occur in the constitution?

I think the CO delegates must vote for Trump in the first round, right?

If Trump doesn’t secure the nomination on the first round of votes, then all delegates are up for the taking/deal making in subsequent rounds.

This is how Lincoln won. It is not cheating to secure delegates in case on a contested convention.

We have no say in the destruction of the Republic.

We each have one vote.... which is pretty much like saying we have no say.

It takes a lot of work, money, time, energy etc to start a political party that can compete. Maybe Trumpy is the start of that type of movement. He has 35% or so of the right and some percentage of the left. Maybe his followers should unite and start a new party? (I'm passing on the opportunity to suggest names... even though I have a few) :) That is what it will take to "have say".

I'm just saying... neither party cares if you and I leave. It doesn't matter because at the end of the day, in the General election we're going to vote for someone, or we're going to stay home. Same as always.

He should have ran third party to begin with... but he ran as a republican because he and the Bush family are at odds. His whole goal was to knock Jebby out. He’s done that and we’re all happy about that.

Maybe you should consider that one doesn’t have to support Trump to care what happens to our country. In fact, some do not support him precisely BECAUSE we care what happens to our country.

“This is how Lincoln won. It is not cheating to secure delegates in case on a contested convention.”

34 to 0? 0 delegates will vote for Trump in the first ballot without a single vote! People at Lincoln’s time would have had an early civil war, right?

The fact uniparty CHEATS. Call them super delegates or GOPee superglue, does it really matter?

I think not.
