Well at least he is not Canadian.

"When all else fails, fall back on the red herring false accusation that Cruz is a Canadian."

Yawn.

He (Trump) already has gamed the system to generate 22% higher percentage of delegates than his vote totals have earned.

And yet he complains that he is not treated fairly. The primary process is designed to help the frontrunner and it has. Yet he has a hired gun, Manafort, to do the saw sort of delegate wrangling that Cruz knew enough to do because he was better prepared. If Trump does it- good- if Cruz does it- bad.

I hope Trump supporters are good with Kasich, that son-of-a-mailman as VP.

I will not vote for Kasich or any ticket which includes him. He’s despicable. If he had one shred of integrity he’d switch to his rightful party.

Since Kasich has only 150 delegates why would he care about the number of Cruz delegates?

Why is Kasich running anto Cruz ads in NY when Trump is polling >50%?

It is called POLITICS.

I would note that there is no whining from the Cruz campaign about this.

I agree, and so would Cruz...he's not the ‘constant conservative’ he lied to be...he's a RAT and belongs over with Hillary and Bernie!!!

If the mail arrives late tomorrow, will you blame your grocer?

I'll blame Kasich's father.

I’d rather see him align with Rubio. He’s the one who was told to get out and he had more delegates than Kasich. A trump-Rubio ticket would stick it to the establishment, the media, Cruz and kasich.

Rubio is not a can-do guy. He’s a skater and Trump has no use for guys who don’t work hard.

At this point I can't explain it bcause I haven't thought about it enough, but there is something viscerally repellent about Kasich to me, that goes beyond any of the shenanigans either Trump or Cruz may have pulled. I would vote for either of them, but I won't vote for anything with Kasich near it.

I know of no liberal that wants to deport illegal aliens and build a wall to keep them out.

I know of no liberal that wants to lower the corporate tax rate that would make US Industry competitive in the marketplace.

Kasich is full on retard. I could deal with him as veep.

I do know that his 14 years in D.C. he lived with a gay man...he is famous for being around gays, and he said he will pass in his state of Ohio the law that says a ‘transgender man can use a female’s restroom’ and I have to wonder if he has really thought this thru, beings he has two daughters of his own????

After what happened in Michigan Saturday, I would like to believe there is something to this. While I wish Trump could be in a stronger position to pick a more ideological running mate, I can live with such a compromise. Who knows, maybe Trump can convince Kasich to come around to adopting a more enlightened view on some aspect of his policies. It is a stretch to expect Kasich to change is liberal leanings, yet all I have to do is remind myself to keep my eyes on the ultimate goal: Getting Trump nominated.
Lest we all forget what Reagan did in aligning with Bush. Seldom in life is everything perfect!!

In all honesty, K-Sic seeks to help K-Sic. The little empty shell of a man sees an opportunity only to keep himself erect and standing. What better way to do the impossible than to play one team off the other. Out of the fray, out of the middle. K-Sic plans to be the new won chosen no matter what the cost.

I won’t vote for a bake-the-cake rino. Not as president, not as vice president.

So if Cruz had partnered with Kasich to get delegates you would have been
OK ?

My guess is that the whine about stolen votes would have been off the charts.

This is just politics.

Everybody is jealous of Cruz's "ground game". Cruz understands the rules and is winning the ground game. Trump hasn't got a clue even how it's played. Kasitch is picking his choice to get VP or some advantage.

This is how it's played, not crooked or illegal as some are saying. This is also why Trump is foolish to tout his "dealmaking" prowess as Cruz wipes the floor with him. It's also why Trump is making changes in his campaign staff, a little late, but better than never.

It is frightening to think Trump doesn't know how the states pick their delegates as he spends his own money and gets beaten over and over. If he knew what he was doing it would already be over, but it's unreal how he watches Cruz go scoop up delegates and he doesn't even send a representative down to try to get them. Trump doesn't even understand the system. Apparently he hasn't even hired a person that understands what to do. maybe the new guy will help, but it's a little late.

Cruz is scooping up delegates, setting up the convention rules to suit him, and lining up the conventions to favor him. This is what is referred to as "the ground game" and Cruz has a very good one and Trump's is invisible.

Another FRiend pointed out that perhaps he and his daughters, being part of the elite, don’t think they’ll ever be subjected to the disgusting and dangerous effects of the things they foist upon the rest of us.

“There is one other role available to Kasich: the man who delivers the nomination to Trump. If Trump accepts Kasich as running mate with actual influence over the campaign and Kasich unbinds his delegates, it might be enough to put Trump over the top on the first ballot. Remember also that Kasich and Trump have advisers, Paul Manafort and Charlie Black, who were former business partners and longtime friends.”

I have posted ad nauseum that this is the most likely scenario. If you were Kasich who is running hard for VP who are you going to pick the guy with no chance or the guy most likely to succeed?
