Do you know of anyone in Cruz's family that have more than a passing familiarity with the 2nd Amendment, or with firearms, shooting activities, concealed carry, reloading, shooting sports, etc., etc.?

Trump's whole family does.

Kasich would be an awful VP pick.

Kasich is a climbing careerist. I don’t doubt his positions are carefully crafted to get elected in a purple state like Ohio.

Unfortunately, Cruz adds nothing to a Trump ticket at this point. He’d be wise to focus on 2018 Senate bid. Going to be a rough few years for Senator Green Eggs & Ham.

“passing familiarity with the 2nd Amendment”

But Ted Cruz makes “machinegun bacon”, so that makes him the ultimate 2nd Amendment candidate :)

I have to respectfully disagree, as a lot of folks on this site seem to be very sincere Cruz fans. One might disagree with them, but they obviously see something in the man that Trump clearly does not supply.

Cruz has the 2nd larges tally of voters. If Trump has around 40% , Cruz has 30 %.

That means together they are 70 percent of the primary voters (approximately). Both are in some way against the establishment, even Trump fans admit that when they say the establishment is using Cruz.

That would be a great team from the point of view of unity and breaking the lock of the uni-party. Folks on both side would have to give up a lot of their anger at the other side, but might well be a great pairing. The country needs a change. That ticket, at least to me, seems to offer the best possibility of long term change.

I can hope.....

I’ve seen many of your posts. There is a constant in them where you spend too many words making your point, when they can be boiled down to one sentence, which contains mockery and division. And when you get called on it, you find a way to cop out.

In my experience over the years, people like that invariably show themselves as cowards.

We knew this was in the bag when Katsick ran the anti-Cruz ad. Two liberals on the R ticket.

Crazy and corrupt limousine liberal vs criminal and corrupt limousine liberal. What a mess we have made of 2016.

Your own words confirm what my little satirical reply was meant to illustrate but I now understand it falls short, at least when it applies to you individually, you resort to calling people whose politics vary from yours a "coward."

Let the reader judge whether the source of your malice is so ludicrous yet potentially dangerous as to remind one of the Salem witch trials in which hysterical girls made up stories causing innocent people to be burned at the stake. Let the reader judge you from your own words:

We can only hope we get a grip on the immigration problems in the fashion you mention. If we do not & the status quo remains....we are finished.

Kasich is pretty liberal so why wouldn’t he side with DT?

While I believe, and have posted awhile back to this point, that FR seems to have currently an atmosphere much like Salem did in 1692, for the record nobody was burned at the stake in Salem, nor the surrounding towns at that time. Another interesting parallel is that in Salem, politically, there were two opposing forces, one to the "west" and the other to the "east".

About 2 dozen were hanged, and one crushed under stone weights.

Did they get more or less due process than granted by MaxistheBest's wife?
