Michael Savage to Cruz: Renounce Colorado result
WND ^ | 4/11/2016

Posted on 04/11/2016 1:16:33 PM PDT by SpaceBar

Calling the Colorado Republican Party’s decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote.

“What just happened in Colorado should, frankly, disqualify Cruz, who claims to be a constitutional conservative,” Savage told his listeners Monday.

Savage is a strong supporter of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has been a regular guest on “The Savage Nation.” (full article at link)

“ ‘The will to win is not nearly so important as the will to prepare to win.’ ” -Vince Lombardi

Amen, brother!

It doesn’t appear that Deceptive Donnie has much will to follow through on all the little details it takes to win, like having the right scorecard for the delegates you want to win.

I thought the issue was disenfranchising voters? You’re failing to acknowledge that Trump has disenfranchised voters and accumulated delegates far beyond the votes he got at every opportunity he could. Cruz has never once whined about it. He would never even think to, because Cruz understands the rule of law and respects it. He knows he does not have a veto over the rules, nor does whatever angry mob he can gin up by whining about it.

And, oh, the presidential preference vote doesn’t mean you get to pick your own delegates in every state. It just binds their vote on the first round in most states. Again, rules are rules.

Who cares always about Trump. Geesh I am worried about our freedom and dirty tricks that erode those freedoms for all. Get off your Trump bashing and look where America is today or maybe you don’t care.

“Cruz supporters: In a perpetual trance and state of delusion.”

Deceptive Donnie supporters: turning more and more into liberal, politically correct weenies who believe everybody should get a trophy.

There are rules for delegate selection in place. Most states do not have any rule that says the candidate picks their own delegates. No candidate can do anything but work within the rules in place. Cruz is a Texan and has no control over the rules in Colorado, Florida or anywhere else.

Rules are rules.

Trump and his Trumpettes are sore losers.

They like technicalities when they help; hate them when they don’t

That’s all it is. Nothing cunning or complicated about it.

Sightly off-topic:

Some voters need to be disenfranchised.

You can fix America easily, with one little change to the 17th Amendment: only people who are net federal taxpayers are allowed to vote for Senators.

This would very easily and simply restore the Senate as a bulwark against populism and gimmedatism.

Savage... It is a private organization that made its’ own rules nearly a year ago. There is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, in the constitution about establishing private political parties.

Just today a Cruz supporter called me a liar for pointing out that McConnell’s PAC is all in for Cruz.

There is nothing that you can say to a Cruz supporter to prove your point. With them, the ends justify the means. They would have no problem with voter fraud, communist tactics, and other underhanded moves as long as it benefited their guy. I stopped trying to carry on substantive arguments with them, it is futile.

I have no idea where this question comes from, or where you got your idea for the rest of your retarded post. It has nothing to do with what I wrote to you. Obviously, it is just your attempt to troll.

See? I told you you are cunning, but not smart. Remember, your "technicality" is just the proportional delegate system. This is not a technicality, unless you're a retarded person named Jewbacca.

Colorado only switched to this convention system in August of 2015, so not too long ago. And it was designed to give the front runner an advantage, who the part assumed would be the person they picked, but this time the front runner is the one who the people have picked up to this point and the party does not like that.

So the point is the part did this to ensure they pick who they want, and not give the voters the chance to chime in.

As for it being the rules and being legal, that same sort of thinking is what the financial and banking institutions used for their irresponsible and corrupt actions leading to the 2008 recession.

Rules can be made by the elite to benefit their goals, it does not make them right.

‘There is nothing that you can say to a Cruz supporter to prove your point. With them, the ends justify the means. They would have no problem with voter fraud, communist tactics, and other underhanded moves as long as it benefited their guy.’

This is absolutely true. When Cruz got into bed with the Bushes, when Lindsey Graham announced his support of Cruz, when McConnell’s PAC started actively working for Cruz, and when Cruz himself admitted he was modeling his campaign on Obama’s [Alinsky] tactics and strategy, the truth was out there. Cruz supporters just want no part of it.

You know, the more I think about it, the more stupid I think you are. So “proportional delegate” system is unfair, according to you, but then if we switch to the popular vote system, Trump still wins anyway. I mean, how stupid can you be? Apparently very. Of course, we both know you’re fabricating these concerns just as a rhetorical point.
