Good luck with that, Wiener.

Trump’s lack of preparation does not register as an emergency on my give-a-crap meter.

Savage is a mixed bag, so I’m never sure to believe everything he says.

I’m not aware that the CO caucus was tainted.

Might be worth tuning into 770 AM to hear the idiot wail against his Savage nemesis.

Calling the Colorado Republican Party’s decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote.

I actually think that is a good idea. It would be chivalrous.

Why didn’t Savage speak out about this 8 months ago when Colorado announced the new process?

This is classic Al Gore...complain about the process only after you find out you don’t like the result.

LOL!

Hey Mike! Donald! This has been explained to you many times.

Long before you came along, the Nat’l GOP said that Caucus Straw polls would be binding.
In past elections, Colorado had straw poll winners who had dropped out prior to the convention, leaving us with NO voice.
So, Colorado State GOP decided to remain a factor in the convention, we would not have a straw poll.
At this point, both the Colorado GOP and Dem chairs have agreed that we will return to Presidential Primaries in the future.

Sure, right after Trump renounces the 22% bonus delegates he got under the rules.

Savage was recently running a commercial for his show where he chided his listeners for waiting for a "politician to save them". Of course he named Cruz.

Looks like he's not taking his own advise.

That makes Savage and Khuner against this banana republic voter rip-off. Would be interesting to see what the “so-called” constitutionalist Mark Levin has to say.

How pathetic that all these people are making excuses for the ineptness of thr trump campaign.

Did Cruz make the rules?

We’re the rules a secret?

Did anyone prevent the Trump campaign fron knowing the rules and running a campaign in CO?

No, no, no.

Voters are overrated. Too many are LIV. Let’s carry Colorado’s model over into the General. After all, who knows what’s best for the country, a bunch of unevenly educated plebians and riffraff, or the Permanent Political Class?

As AllahPundit of Hotair observes:

The funniest part of this is when Trump says the rules in Colorado were changed to help “a guy like Cruz.” In reality the rules were changed to block guys like Cruz.

Colorado used to award its delegates via a caucus, but that backfired in 2012 when Rick Santorum upset Mitt Romney there. That’s how it tends to go with caucuses — unlike a statewide primary, they benefit well-organized candidates with a passionate grassroots following, both of which are hallmarks of Cruz’s campaign.

When the rules were altered last August, decoupling the caucus from the process of awarding delegates, it was done with the intent of preventing another victory by an outsider — not just Trump but Cruz, Rand Paul, Ben Carson, and so on. The hope, I’m sure, was that an establishment champion would emerge this year and would, by dint of his greater campaign resources and “insider” support,” be able to out-organize all of the insurgent candidates in electing delegates directly.

Trump’s not wrong, in other words, to believe that the system was “rigged,” but it was rigged to try to hurt Cruz as much as to hurt him.

So what happened? Cruz adapted and Trump didn’t. As the establishment candidates crumbled, Cruz got organized to target delegates at the state and district level while Trump glided on with his media-saturation campaign strategy. If Trump had been paying attention, he’d have brought Paul Manafort into the campaign the day after Colorado changed its rules, knowing that delegate-wrangling could end up playing a key role in claiming the nomination. He didn’t.

Which, says Ben Domenech, raises the question: If Trump can’t anticipate his opponents’ moves in a straightforward game like this, where the rules are written down and publicly available, how’s he going to do with foreign policy?

Colorado has not held a presidential primary since 2004, after the state decide the parties had to pay for it. The idea that they made some big change this year in the way the delegates were selected is a lie that is being pushed by Trump supporters to argue that somehow Cruz and the party “stole” delegates from Trump.

The time to complain to Colorado, if you're Trump, was back in August, when the vote was taken to caucus be area, not statewide!

Trump could also have met with Colorado leaders whenever he chose but NO, he either didn't know or didn't think it would matter, as he erroneously thought he'd have cleared the hurdle by now!

Savage is a whiner of the first order, not to mention name caller a Day vocal supporter of Trump, so I totally disregard him.

Cruz didn't set Colorado rules, he merely got out there and hustled!
