The Republican party said this tweet saying the account was hacked.
But that is a lie.
The party deleted the tweet only three minutes after it was posted – meaning they still had control of the account. It was not hacked – it was a Republican party insider.
The comments tell the tale of how this is playing our in the public’s perception. It’s a match to what the former party chairman said here;

Of course it was hacked. We can trust the GOPe, right? Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going back to bed with Victoeia Secret models cooking me breakfast with nothing but an apron.

I’m more convinced than ever that Trump planned Colorado to happen the way it’s happening. Trump knew all about the CO rules - he said so in this press conference yesterday. He’s said over and over he likes to be unpredictable - and talks about the comment a business associate said - “We couldn’t figure you out”.
Many people in Colorado was very angry at what the GOP did with the rules last year. It’s all over twitter, facebook and the media. The worst thing to do in a war is underestimate your enemy - that gives the enemy a HUGE advantage. Trump is perfectly capable of the strategic thinking required to analyze and execute exactly what is happening in the fallout of the CO fiasco. Bet on it.

Cory Gardner waded in this morning with a defense of Colorado GOP, so I imagine he's about to be the recipient of plenty of ire, too.
They won a little skirmish, but are losing the war BIG TIME.
Amazing all the smart people here that don’t get it. The big picture problem is not rocket science to anyone who is not stuck staring at one tree so long they get so cross-eyed they think the fuzzy thing they see is the whole forest.
What happened In Colorado is indefensible on any coherent, rational, ethical, or moral ground. Everyone know this. THAT is the big picture, that is the forest - and exactly why Trump is so much more popular than any other candidate. THAT is why there is a movement like we have never before seen in American politics. Trump is blowing up the status-quo Americans have HATED for so long. And Colorado gave him more ammunition in that fight for freedom from establishment elitists cramming what they want down our throats.

Does that mean getting in bed with and wildly fornicating and fluffing every establishment elitist he can get close to?
Wow he makes me sick. To think I bought his book “A Time For Truth”. I actually believed he was “the only principled candidate in the race”. He proved how stupid I was to believe him. Six months ago no one would have believed Cruz would be where he is right now - in bed with the GOP elite.
I’ll still vote for him if he is the nominee but I’d like a refund on the book.

First they spent tens of millions trying to boost their favorite presidential candidates, then they poured cash into ads attacking Donald Trump, and now some of the biggest donors on the right are turning their attention to the delegate fight.
Anti-Trump billionaires are funding ground operations in an increasing number of states to try to ensure the selection of national convention delegates who oppose Trump.
He shouldn’t have hid from that. Be proud to be #NeverTrump. There’s nothing wrong with it.
It’s not the GOPe any more — it’s the gopE. The Establishment is everything.
See that is another problem with the obvious lack of strategic thinking skills in the Cruz camp. They think they can defy the laws of cause and effect. The effect is as you say “They are getting DESTROYED.” Their actions, and doubling down on their actions is the cause.
Actions have consequences. Trump understands that and is exploiting it in Colorado. Cruz does not understand that.
Like someone said - Colorado was a Trump honeypot operation. Trump thinks many moves ahead and many levels above what we are sued to seeing - that is why he’s obliterating Cruz in the perception battle. And the best part is he’s using ammunition Cruz handed over!!
