The Two-Party Political System Is 100% Rigged, "It's A Crooked Deal,"

Of course it is. That's why the Constitution doesn't mention them, and that's why George Washington made a point of warning about us about them in his farewell address:

“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”

How could ANY Freeper take issue with Trump's words, even those who do not support him?

[[Trump is working up his supporter to convince them the system is rigged. He will then demand the nomination based on fraud and corruption. His hacks and tools such as Drudge, Brietbart, Gateway Pundit are all more than happy to be propaganda machines. Get elected and then burn the Reichstag, I mean capital building. ]]

Bingo- well stated- the writing is on the wall, and like the poster above said- it’s a dirty tactic of running a campaign o n the cheap- not spending any money, whining, then turning around and like you say going to claim fraud and demand the nomination

He’s already let it be known that if he doesn’t reach 1237 votes, that all hell is going to break loose- He has served advanced notice-

The primary rules in both parties are certainly odd and not in the interests of the voters, but the rules are also written down and publicly available. Failing to play by the known rules is a mistake, like getting into a poker game and not bluffing or a baseball game and not stealing bases. It’s time for Team Trump to move on and win under the rules they are facing.

Who benefits from the Trump-Cruz wars, of which many responses to this post are a part? Hillary, Bernie, Jeb, Rubio, Kasich, and others who consistently support Amnesty, who consistently support Obamacare, and who consistently support restrictions on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms. Decent Americans are better off with a real truce, and not just a “I’ll stop when every person who even pretends to support the other side stops” gesture toward a truce that will never happen.

The nonsense is not helping us to elect the best possible conservative in November. I want 99% or more of Cruz supporters to vote Trump, when he is nominated, even if they hold their noses. In the event that Cruz wins the nomination, I want 99% or more of Trump supporters to vote Cruz, even if they hold their noses. Offending the other side does not encourage them to vote Trump (or Cruz) in November. I cannot help wondering how many of those who stir up the Trump-Cruz wars are actually paid trolls taking Jeb/Hillary/Soros money to cause trouble - not all of them but probably enough to set the toxic tone.

I stand by my recurring statement:

Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such.

If it comes out with a different result than what the voters chose, it’s rigged.

If the voters don’t get to vote, it’s rigged.

And THAT isn''t whining, it's the TRUTH! TRUTH is something Cruz doesn't let get in his way.

No Cruz and his supporters parrot “those are the rules”. They would make great communists or Nazis, because it apparently doesn’t matter to them what the rules are.

Trump blew it. He assumed he could work outside the party. He had to play by their rules. Now, as he constantly attacks the GOP, Cruz, and any one who goes against them he just alienated the people that can elect him. If his approach continues and he runs third party it’s Clinton. It may be rewarding to say “crash and burn” but they ARE the only alternative to 8 more years of Obamanomics under an even more ruthless marxist.

The ONLY people who can stop CLinton now are the Berners. The GOP will support her. Trump and Cruz could have joined forces attacking her but nope. Trump’s ego won’t allow it.

If the GOPE and its workers on here get the message then its working. Americans are not going to let the Establishment turn us into Cruz’s CFR’s North American Union.

If that’s his goal, he has to start before the convention. He would need to gather signatures in each state, and by the time of the Republican convention, will have already missed the filing deadlines for 12 states, including Texas, Florida, Illinois and Indiana. With those not in play, he would have no choice of doing anything but preventing the Republican nominee from winning. (Texas has the earliest deadline, May 9, so he’d have to start gathering signatures now.)

“If it comes out with a different result than what the voters chose, it’s rigged.

If the voters don’t get to vote, it’s rigged.”

All of the slick Harvard lawyer wording saying that it is a great deal still means that it is rigged.

Cruz called it the DC cartel. You don't think for one minute they will just hand their power over to Trump or Cruz? Why do you think Paul Ryan keeps floating up in the news.

“Trump: The Two-Party Political System Is 100% Rigged, It's A Crooked Deal,”

I just wish Trump had told us this before now.

When did Trump find out about this problem with the system?

Please stop blowing smoke up our asses and telling us its the rules. When the so-called rules result in the State party officers, donors and party faithful make up the majority of delegates the game is rigged to protect the Establishment not represent the people.

To add, that would hand the election to Hillary Clinton, which some have argued is the whole purpose of the Trump campaign from day one.

Trump is an idiot. He has only won, overall, about 37% of the actual vote (including his Dem fans in the early open party states, who boosted him enormously) but the rest of the vote was split between the many candidates we had. The results for the remaining 63% (probably all legitimate GOPers) who did not vote for him are reflected in this.

He’s such a whiner.
