Looks more like “HELLO” to me. I’d kept on flyin’..
2nd story like this this week. Other case was sailors who were stranded and wrote HELP in seaweed or something.
“her hybrid vehicle ran out of gas and electric power”
BWAHAHAAHHA
Oh, I am not disagreeing pal, she is the height of idiotic. Lucky to be alive.
That run from Globe up through the Reservation to the Salt River Canyon is miles and miles of NOTHING. Even the Apache settlements are miles off the highway.
I guess the marketing of hybrid cars are not so efficient. A map versus a GPS would help. A thought of staying in the car? Solar batteries for car or or just for the radio? Just some questions for the 72 old lady.
Why didn’t this woman just ask fordirections. She had nine days to do so.
I know that highway well. There is not much out there but there are cars. She should have stayed on the road.
Yep. People don’t always do the correct thing in an emergency. That is also why denial is almost alway accompanying the onset of a cardiac event.
And, if you must leave your car, leave a note and make an arrow saying which direction you are heading and why.
Could have saved her 5-6 days in the wilderness. From the article -
Rodgers went missing March 31 as she headed to visit her grandkids in Phoenix. She got lost, and her hybrid vehicle ran out of gas and electric power, authorities said. Her car was discovered three days after a search began, but rescue crews struggled to find her.
Is that a Jackolope scull in the picture?
don’t forget the citation for the dog poo
and violation of leash laws
(I’m glad she and her dog are ok)
Actually, no, I didn't. Not initially. Further confirms my point, though. Contrast, more than anything, will draw attention, then they can investigate closer.
I have two intelligent brothers-in-law that never consult a map. Their GPSs routinely guide them into stupid situations.
Siri will drive your happy ass right off the cliff...
local TV station reported she is 87 (which did not jive with her picture). that was after their daily praise of all things LGBT.
