A research team confirms that 97 percent of climate scientists agree that climate change is caused by humans. The group includes Sarah Green, a chemistry professor at Michigan Technological University.
"What's important is that this is not just one study -- it's the consensus of multiple studies," Green says. This consistency across studies contrasts with the language used by climate change doubters.
"The public has a very skewed view of how much disagreement there is in the scientific community," she says. Only 12 percent of the US public are aware there is such strong scientific agreement in this area, and those who reject mainstream climate science continue to claim that there is a lack of scientific consensus. People who think scientists are still debating climate change do not see the problem as urgent and are unlikely to support solutions.
"By compiling and analyzing all of this research -- essentially a meta-study of meta-studies -- we've established a consistent picture with high levels of scientific agreement among climate experts," she says.
And among climate scientists, there's little doubt. There is consensus on consensus.

I love that 97% figure, here’s roughly how they came up with thst number, true facts.
They sent out about 1,000 surveys. About 100 were returned, of those about 85 were trown out. Of the remaining 15, 95% of those 15 support the scam.

There is no need to continue to fund climate scientists, their job is done and they can all move on to other research topics.
An aside- recent moves to criminalize noncompliance with this settled science will result in 100% agreement (or be fined, lose your job, or be jailed).
The “consensus” on global warming has been purchased by the grifting governments of the world who want the money.
All this activity proving the unprovable DOES generate heat, y’know ...

That’s OK. There are a number of State AG’s forming up to criminalize those who speak out against global warming. There is already one against a non-profit. I think it was CEI but I am not sure.

phew, thank goodness there’s a consensus on a consensus now because that means man must really REALLY be responsible for climate change DESPITE the fact that climates always change first, then 800 years later CO2 levels rise
And thank goodness for the consensus because yestday was a swealtering 0.03 degree warmer- instead of hte usual 35 degree f it was 35.03 degrees f out- I barely survived!
Anyone who uses the word consensus as support any scientific hypothesis or theory, is not a scientist or doing scientific work of any kind.
97% of the 15% of the 10% of climate scientists who responded to the survey agree with each other.
I hate that this manipulative woman is a professor at my alma mater.
If they all use the same “data set”, known to be fraudulent already beforehand, wouldn’t they all come to the same conclusions anyway??
Scientific truth is not a function of consensus.
The 97% has been wrong more often than right about the important things, including:
Galileo’s heretical and unproven claim that the Earth circles the sun;
Louis Pasteur’s ridiculous, dangerous and unproven claim that microbes cause disease and that his Rabies vaccine is safe and effective;
Alfred Wegener’s ridiculous and unproven claim that the Earth’s crust is made of thin plates that float on molten magna and cause earthquakes and volcanoes;
Robin Warren’s ridiculous, dangerous and unproven claim that bacteria cause stomach ulcers;
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek’s ridiculous and unproven claim that he sees invisible beasties with his instruments of the devil.
All this BS the day after the photo of the moon,earth,sun eclipse as seen from space, showing all that “man made energy” millions of miles long,coming from the sun.
