By contrast, Giuliani was elected mayor as a conservative Republican twice, with political views far outside what the voters of New York City would have considered properly "conservative." He applied Reaganite principles to the city as far as he could. He has a political track record that is enviable for that part of the country, and he knows how to fight and win.
If he has political advice for Trump, the man ought to listen.
