Hillary Clinton told members of Al Sharpton's civil rights organization today that whites need to check their privilege when discussing racial inequality.
'White Americans need to do a much better job of listening when American-Americans talk about the seen and unseen barriers you face every day,' Clinton said at the National Action Network conference in New York City.
Clinton told attendees, 'We need to recognize our privilege and practice humility rather than assume our experiences are everyone else's experiences.'

He did work for Rockefeller...he switched parties whenever he could see a candidate wasn’t interested in civil rights or pursuing them and again he didn’t make a big show of it. Very low key and got his message across quite well without riots.
He backed Nixon then switched to Goldwater and then to Rockefeller...Hated Kennedy but when Senator Robert Kennedy intervened in the south, supported JFK...
I got to work with some Haitian immigrants in Boston years ago, and they were open about their contempt for urban American blacks. These guys worked their tails off, had successful businesses and kept their kids in line.
I once overheard some of these Haitians being accused of “gaming the system” by some native blacks. I guess that’s what hard work and raising your kids right is considered now, “gaming the system.”

If I said someone was better than someone else because of the color of their skin at work I’d be fired. You can’t be a more severe bigot if you believe that.
I’m tired of this crap. Blacks from Africa don’t give off this hate whitey vibe either. I attended Purdue Unversity’s Engineering schools graduation last May. By far, the majority of black engineering grads were African foreign students. From what my son told me, they got their degrees just as he, the other white kids and the Asian kids got their degrees. They all worked their asses off for them. That was their “privilege.”

I’d like to see politicians “check their politician privilege” and start obeying the laws of the United States like the rest of us. Paying their “fair share” of taxes would help too.

Her rhetoric is egregious. None of us, whatever color, race etc., should fall prey to these blatantly selfish attempts to separate us for political/personal gain. The real separation is between self-determinism vs. state control. Those who see themselves as ‘leaders’ of the state (e.g. Hillary Clinton), strongly favor ‘state control’. It’s a very selfish and narcissism-driven world view, and is very, very dangerous.
Hillary is definitely PRIVELEGED, because she should have been in federal penitentiary years ago.

I finally figured it out, I was privileged to walk behind a mule from age ten until I finished high school at eighteen, I was then privileged to volunteer for the United States Navy and attend electronics school, then I was privileged to serve in Iceland and aboard the USS Saratoga. I was then privileged to return home and work for another fifty years and I am privileged to still work every chance I get. Wow, I am so privileged I can’t believe it.
